Hi all I got my 04 plate Zed about 8 months ago with only 2700 miles on the clock (not a typo, 2700!). It was serviced at some ridiculous intervals like 1000 and 2700. I've managed to rack up a few more miles and its just turned 10k. Before I go to the stealer to get done over, which service should it actually get e.g. P2,3, 4? Any tips on servicing e.g. providing oil, shopping around, etc? Cheers Steve

cheers steve_b, great advice. Glen, the father in law has told me you can get something called beam benders to put on the front of the car to fix the light issue. not exactly sure what they are but will check it out.

sh!t, good tip on the toll road fines! Would have been p!ssed if I hadn't realised that. Still not decided on exact destination yet so might have a trip down to the Millau.

Decided to have a blast over to somewhere in France (probs Brittany area) with the Z and missus in May sometime. Never really been to proper France (except Paris and Calais on a booze haul), so wondered if anyone had any tips for the driving over there...roads fun? many speed cameras? petrol cheap? any good places to stop off?

how much actual wear and tear does a day put on the car? will I defo need new tyres and pads immediately after? Any other parts that take a beating? My zed has done 8k fairly sedate miles and the tyres are still absolutely fine.

Nice one, I'll check out these different options and weigh up the costs. Going on the Top Gear track would be pretty cool though...

I would really like to learn to handle my zed properly and quite fancy a day on a track with some tuition, etc. However I don't like the idea of blasting the tyres and brake pads off my car and the cost involved in replacing. Is there anywhere you can reccomend that would have a zed available to take out?

Hi My Zed has immaculate Rays on it but I am getting more and more paranoid about them getting damaged/degraded (my last car a Celica VVTI, had a kind of bubbling effect on the alloys after a while). Any tips on protection, maintenance, quick fixes for scuffs, etc? Cheers

Hi all 3 months into 350z ownership and its blown me away so far. Just wondered if there are any very simple performance enhancing tweaks, mods, etc to get up towards the 300bhp mark? (Obviously using Super goes without saying) I have zero modding experience so anything that requires zero/minimal mechanical skill is appreciated! Steve

The missus is terrifed of it actually, she refuses to drive it...of course I'm gutted about this

Hi Had my Zed now for 2 months or so and as the first hints of winter are approaching I have started using the electric heated seat. However the heat seems to be intermittent, it gets hot for a while, cools down and then randomly heats up at different times. Any thoughts?

Hi The interior door panels on my 350 have got the occasional, how can I put it, sweaty marks where patches are darker in colour. I bought Autoglym interior stuff but this actually just seemed to make it worse and left streaky patches itself. Anybody got any tips?

Am considering buying the BT adaptor as suggested but have one quick question - does it plug into the actual phone cradle or the bit that is fitted to the car? I am hoping that I can flog the cradle on ebay and use the money to buy the BT adaptor (slightly skint after buying the Zed!)

Hi I got my zed a couple of weeks back and it has a handsfree kit built in. However the cradle only fits some old cack nokias. Any way I can jury rig it to fit a new phone or do I have to swap my nice phone for the mobile equivalent of a turd?
