  1. I'm actually looking for one of these at the moment but i can't help but think this is still over priced, i know it's a manual but the fact thats its silver and only has a cloth interior kind of takes away from that so to me its on par with a good spec auto in a nice colour with leather and i've seen plenty of them going for £5000-£6000. I'm not having a dig at you mate but it could be why this has been for sale for such a long time.

  2. Do these come with Rays centre caps, hub rings, wheel nuts or valve stems? What condition are the allen bolts around the rim in, did the quote you got for refurb include refurbing or replacing them?

No sorry they don't come with centre caps or wheel nuts, hub rings can be bought for 4.95 on ebay.

All the allen bolts are in really good condition and wouldn't need replacing.

£400, anyone interested ?, if not like just keep them at that price.

  3. I have a set of rays 57f pro's which are looking a bit worse for wear.

My plan is to paint them with a gloss black lip and a satin centre but what i also want to do is replace the allen bolts that hold the 2 halves together with red anodised ones.

The thing is that i can only find aluminium bolts, would these be strong enough ? if not does anyone know of anywhere that sells anodised steel allen bolts ?

  4. The JDM Allstars drift team use neuton tyres

“Initially I was surprised to get the call inviting me to the team. I had previously run the Neuton tyres and knew how much potential they had, specifically the grip levels! My only hope is that I can do the team proud!†– Ian “Bizz†Phillips (semi-pro winner)

“The tyres are good, simple. I definitely rate them amongst the best out there, but with the added benefit of lasting much longer. They have a strong sidewall, like a track tyre, so the response is amazing. As for being in the team, I’ve had a grin on my face since Mitto called me!†– Jon Calvert (stage one winner)

  5. The sort of people who would consider purchasing unknown budget tyres for their sports car tend to be the sort of people for whom the sole satisfaction factor is the price of said tyre hence why there are only positive reviews. I honestly struggle to believe that any manufacturer is able to produce anything even remotely reasonable for half the price of other budget tyres in the same size - it's not magic. In my humble opinion if you choose to run non-standard wheel sizes, you should only do so if you are able to afford to put proper rubber on them as otherwise it is a pretty pointless decision.

Yep but my opinion was formed by actually using the tyres and not just assuming with no experience whatsoever.

  7. Pretty much every time i take me car out i'll get a 12 year old in his mum fiesta trying to race me but today takes the biscuit. I was driving down my local dual carriage way and suddenly noticed a 5 series bmw on the other side of the road and what caught he eye was the 2 people in it were waving and pointing at my car, I then watched in my rear veiw mirror as they went all the way round the roundabout but as they floored it to catch up with me lost the back end, hit the armco and then shot across the road to finish up in a hedge.

what is wrong with these people ??
