Catch the bus?
-
4 clutches during ownership!!
-
no........
I normally really like most bodykits...chav at heart!!
But in this instance...don't do it...go for nismo or veilside in my humble opinion....
-
happened to browse the web and stumble upon www.my350z.com i think.
I can't get over how cheap the 350z is over there
You can pick up a 03 with low mileage for around $19-20k, which is around £10k here!!!!
Man, thats not fair.
Also found out the GTR is going to be cheaper there too.....
Almost makes me want to emigrate there.

good for you sarnie......
thats a good attitude to have.
If you have a nice car, you want to be able to drive it to the supermarket, cinema, town, etc.........
........but......considering this is the same estate where I've gone into someone's stationary corsa..(when i was 17) and have had several incidents...
prelude was keyed
gf civic's door was dinted.....many times
integra side, someone's poxy red car scraped against it!!!
No serious damage, just cosmestic
which all adds to
and coinage

My main problem is, if I spend that kinda of money on a car, I need my own personal driveway/garage to park it in, instead of the communal parking which I have to suffer right now.....
To sarnie's post about the superb pricing from newera...its very tempting....55k and get it now, or 60k later.....I know people say import cars will always sell for less. But I am of the mind:
Buy import for 55k -> sell at 45k
Buy UK for 60k -> sell for 50k...
But I still have to stump up the extra 5k to begin with.......so am happy to pay less....like sarnie, I never listen to the radio also, got tomtom for sat nav...
the only things that bother me about import of such a new car is.....brand new to manufacturer...bounds to be niggles....who will fix it when it goes wrong?
Heaven forbids if UK price is around 55k
I'd kick myself for buying an import...

many moons ago, well after I watched the fast and the furious tokyo drift actually, i decided i wanted a 350z!! and found my way onto this friendly forum.......
after much research and throught, I decided to keep my Integra Type R, good thing too, as I was made redundant 6 months after.....
I am now back on my feet...and to be fair doing ok as a IT contractor.....so started to look at cars again......
But now, I am only interested in 350z that are fuly kitted in nismo.....
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/269156.htm
However, about 10 days ago, I stumbled across the new GTR!!!
Oh My Goodness.......I want it..........!!!
Perhaps I should save up until 2010 for the GTR!!
One side note: Sarnie, you do get about with your posts mate....must have read a fair few posts of your on pistonheads! (Super car section) the old debate of the lambo vs bmw.....
-
and thinking...i too came to the realisation that must be rubbish....as said by everyone...the warranty should cover a new car for any mechanical problems!!
gonna ring her today and say what u on about!!

Hello guys,
Was just telling my sis about my next dream car the 350z..she has a chat with her bf, who has had a chat with one of his mates that purchased a brand new UK 350z about a year ago...and spent £6-7000 on maintenance!!!
Now is she talking baloney here or what...apparently things went wrong during service checks....and his cambelt had issues....
Can people offer some thoughts and feeling during their ownership of the Z please.
Thanks.
