I have tried to look through the history to see if this has been asked before but didn't spot it. Has anyone got any experience with cold air induction kits. There seems to be a huge difference in cost on the internet with a K&N system for £220+ against an unbranded system for £45. Questions are:- 1. Is it worth adding a kit 2. Do they deliver any real (perceivable) gains 3. Can anyone recommend a system. Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome. The nickname comes from my motorbike racing days (hung up the boots this year) - broken a fair bit of kit and bones!! Well picked up the car and one extra that's missing is the radar detector - the pick up is fantastic and it is sooo easy to go to fast (you can never go to fast its just the nanny state). I'm sure I'll revert to the technical section as I have a couple of questions you folks may be able to help with. I will check the posting history first so as to minimise duplicate questions.
