There is a method of viewing the fault codes without any tools, I'd have to check the service manual, but it has to do with depressing the accelerator pedal x times, waiting x seconds, then picking your nose for a bit and some flashing dashboard lights...
Car arrives in 5weeks (7 month wait!!)

Will miss her I'm sure, but the cost of running two cars (and having to drive around in a crappy old one most of the time) has made the decision a little easier.
Already chosen my next car too but need to wait 3years before I can afford a 2nd hand one (32-35k).
