Thanks guys appreciate you taking the time to respond,
I have nailed it down to a 350Z coupe and have a test drive on Wednesday.
Think I will wait unitl new 06 spec (May) for delivery and am now going to search for someone who can import and fit. I have a WRX as well andthere are loads of aftermarket guys out there for the Impreza but can you recommend anyone who is good?
06 spec is available now to order, was ment to be launched in may but due to demand, order date has been bought forward, convertables arriving end of july coupes early august.

Thanks, I'll ask them tomorrow. I would so like to have the car for the summer, which is never very long where I live, rather than the autumn!
have now orderered 16 06 models, convertables showing end july all coupes showing 4th aug,

So having made the 6-spoke Rays a standard item, Nissan raise the bar again by offering delectable 5-spoke rays for an extra grand.
I want them but can't afford them, but I so wan't them...
It appears that in Australia 18" x 8JJ 5 spoke Aluminium-Alloy Wheels are standard. They look like the ones on the GT4:

Lucky, lucky Bxxxxxds. I'm wondering whether these available in the UK?
5 spokes will not be an option over here, only nismo alloys as previous,.

DVD version is factory fit only on the GT on the MY06 - so if someone is offering to sell you one, it'll be the old system.
?
where did you get that info from?
dvd sat bird veiw is a £1200 factory option now, before was dealer fit at about £1600, new version is 05/06 birdveiw which is the same as in pathfinder/ navara. very good system with traffic updates, not post code though, or speed cameras. flap not on centre area now as permanant screen, the whole centre area looks so much better now. interior door panels alot better. dvd player in one of the smaller storage areas behind driver. on whole i think the new version is a good update, will go down well.

2. Anyone got any other recommendations that keep the door swinging over?
3. Anybody have birdview fitted after purchase, and how much for system/fitting etc.
Appreciate your comments

Yes Astoundingly its an 06 Roadster. I almost cant believe it myself but you never can be sure until you actually see it. However as soon as i do see it, i'll get some snaps up(hopefully i'll get chance in next day or two)
would love to know how the dealership managed to get you one, i can't have any till august. once again good luck with the new ride.

On Friday the Dealership phoned to say my car will be with them on Monday
Since then i'm waking up during the night thinking about it and i may as well not been at work on saturday as hardly anything got done
He says it may be ready for the weekend but definately Monday 20th which is also my birthday
So all in all me and the girlfriend can't WAIT
only 7 sleepless nights to go. is your new car one of the last current models, or astoundingly a new facelift 06 spec . make sure pics are posted . good luck with the new car.

does anybody go up to any of the meets? if so live in Reading , love to go up one night, prefere to go with others.

My alloys are starting to get a bit worse for wear.
Has anyone else had a problem with what looks like the laquor stating to come off in places. Also a couple of the wheels were a little curbed when I bought her.
Once the weather starts to improve in thinking i should get them restored or what ever they do to them.
Anyone had eny experience with that sort of thing? Cost? Firms? etc...
guy we use at Nissan Reading charges about £55 -£60 per wheel always superb job has done rayz and standard alloys.
-
I'm thinking about putting some bigger wheels on my car when i collect it. This would mean that i'll have a set of brand new 18"Rays wheels for sale with brand new manufacturers tyres guessing bridgestones.
Does anybody know what these will fetch roughly?
I've had a scout around and not found anything to compare with.
Many Thanks
why not keep rays for winter use, on salty roads, and have new set for summer use. that way each set only covers half your milage.

my favourite combination is kuro with alzan interior, then light smoke tints front and smoke rears, such a good looking combination.
-
2 today going out of my showroom **06*** gunmetal gt std alloys, **54*** kuro gt with rayz, and alzan, also fitted window tints light smoke fronts smoke rears, also nizmo induction air filter and caps. two more used comming in next week for customers one one azure one gun.
-
i am indeed enjoying the sight, as i only live a 1.3miles from work so only do very few miles, customers put more miles on kuro than me as its the demo car.

hi every one, my name is kevin. decided to join you all after continualy telling customers about the 350 sights, am the sales manager at the nissan garage in reading. have been there 18 months, starting as sales exec, and finaly becoming sales manager in january. love my job, and the fine products we have which really sell themselves. on my third 350z, which is a gtpac, kuro, and standard alloys. have sold ten 06 z's already 3 roadsters and 7 coupes. gun as usual most popular colour, followed by black, and 1x blue 1x sun. should be getting 06 for showroom early april. am in a very fortunate position that i get to take my work home , in the shape of the z. we have one customer who has aready had a full stainless from manifolds all the way through, and they were a work of art in themselves , he is also planing on having supercharger fitted.
-
didn,t apply at first but yes discount available prices and discount veries per model
-
he might have bought is using nmgb friends and family 10 -20% discount off new prices, its not what you know , but who you know.
-
we have a customer with 20's very harsh ride, prefer originals, drive with traction off all time , don't feel so confident with the 20's

800 uk coupe models each year for last 3 years and approx 200 uk convertabes for 2005, is the figures i have. 2006 model looks very promising. quite a few in thames vally area. sold approx 40 last year
-
new model selling really well here , 10 sold. only a few new current models left, showroom models only. new spec looks really good, showroom model due in towards end of march. as you know subtle changes on outside, not sure about rays as standard though, standard alloys was a better seller here. i prefer the more rounded alloy to the flater ray.
-
amazed it available that quick, have 10 to order and been told not able to place orders till next week. cruise standard on gt pacs. sofar sold 3 convertables and 7 coupes.
