Is it me or does the front end look allot bigger on Zalem?

 

I know the middle zeds got no number plate bracket

took braket off to have paint sheild applied, decided to leave it off, plate now flush on bumper. nismo induction going on her tommorrow. silver one is for sale, at £20995 non gt with 20k on 54 plate , mint cond. 6 car line up tonight, would have been 7 but latearrival as we were about to leave.

That zed does look in very good condition given that it is 4 yrs old:)

it is in good nik , drives real good not as old as plate, first mot was due this sept, owner had this done for me before trading it in for murano. wheels same as lee's getting, but these are all black. gives car quite a mean look. cheep auto/tip at 16495. good project /mod base car.

was also thinking of changing the front reflectors... probably the clear ones. Does anyone have a photo of a GM with these on?

clear relectors not available in uk as nissan supplied item for the 06 model, have asked dealern supplies was told clear does not complie to european regs, and won't be available, had several customers wanting them. have seen led illuminated ones for 06 on ebay usa, work out at about £80.

comming in stock in two weeks, jap imprt, tiptronic , azure blue, black aziz 19inch wheels which cost £3000, imported from new to uk, 17000 miles. just had mot even though not due till sept. heated charcol leather, very good cond, will be up around £16750. what do you recon guys ???? any one interested give me a call 07817244137. or drop me a line

have had 2 new cars treated to film so far,1 x customer and my new esibu black , realy good job, only had front bumper done. work was done in our storage unit, tom has people in reading most days at porshe so able to visit us aswell. would highley recomend tom and the boys at paint sheild. catch him on here.

160mph M6 Toll Road, think there is possibly another 10mph in there but would take perhaps another 20-30 seconds to achieve it.

 

Felt very stable.

152 on christmas day on a33 between reading and wellington country park, little bit floaty. quickest ever driven was just over 198, in my ex drag racing 7.5 litre mustang with nitrous. also have a jeep that puts out neer on 400bhp, scarey in a 4x4.

Advice required from my learned Z-heads:

 

Should I "touch up" my Kuro with the Halford's Nissan Kuro kit - grey primer, kuro paint - but NO LACQUER - I'm pretty sure I need lacquer right?

 

I have a small multi-point (4) stone-stab mark in the middle of the door, and a blatent half-cm flake missing off the bonet. Let's not talk about the bumper.

 

I took it to the "stealer" and he said I'd be better touching it up, because all he could do was a re-spray. Needless to say I was hoping for more love as I'm not a bodyshop person, I don't have the tools/skills, and I want someone professional to do it for me. kuro just a solid black, no lacquer

 

I spoke with a good friend of mine who is _much_ more knowledgeable than me and he knows someone local who can do a respray for a few hundred. I'm thinking this is the best option, so I can then get the Armourfend (or similar) on top of a good job. But if I do that, then why not do the touch up anyway, as even if I balls it up it will get sorted with a spray.

 

Back to the lacquer tho - in Halfords they only say to use it on metallic or pearlescent... I must confess that I'm now confuddled as to what the Kuro is. It certainly does look like it has lacquer on it (it's like glass after I've given it some good lovin' ).

 

So: does the Kuro need the lacquer... and what do the experts think?

go for it . very good price . price up for origanly about right, get them to do first service in the price aswell, even though 05 could be comming up to or even be year old. servicing at 9000 or year, which ever 1st, good luck with purchase. ps is it from nissan dealer?

Been browsing the site for the last few months now so thought i would finally register as I am currently looking for a 350z. i have 25K to spend so I think I can get a late 2004/2005

 

Ideally I would like a black one with alezan leaher and sat nav (if I can find it)

 

Currently there is only one on autotrader at the moment which i may go see shortly

 

My main concern is that I have heard a few horror stories about the 350z paint quality especially the Kuro black. One dealer has even said that he would not sell me a black one because they have apparently suffered from blistering and excessive stone chipping. Dont know how true this is so i would appreciate the opinions of anyone with a black version. Not really worried about anything else as it seems to be a very solid car

 

Apart from that if anyone is selling and you have the spec that I am after please can you let me know!

i would definatley do good deals for fellow members, so far now have done 20 new 06z's. now have my new company car 06 esibu gt with sat and tints, will post pics after weekend, so far clocked up 16 miles in a week. will be fitting clear reflectors soon. june gunna be z city here as 8 turning up next week. p.s every customer who enquires about a z i give one of the forum bus cards.

If you are fitting the full Nissan Sat Nav then the problem is actually the audio system settings and are basically the traffic news settings, if this is a standard bose then the ideal settings can be achived in the same manner as setting for Traffic bulletin settigns, however if the unit is an aftermarket then the host unit will need to be configured manually.

 

I can check later today if there are specific other areas but as far as i kow that is the only conduit of volume when connected into the audio unit.

service department fitted sat to z friday, volume set to lowest but still realy loud, changed unit for new one , still same. have gone into setings and volume adjusted to lowest . this is a remote style sat nav for mk1 z. any ideas appreaciated. thanks.
