My friend has these on his Civic Type R, new shape, and they are terrible, it would be better wiping the screen with a fish!

Must be something wrong then, 'cos my wife has them on her Civic and they are brilliant!!

I think I will bite the bullet and order them today.

 

Will let you all know, how they fit / perform once installed.

Wife has these on her Civic and quite impressed with the performance. Definately seems to keep the screen clearer.

Didn't know they are available for the zed - need some new blades, so might try these.

My current tax runs out at the end of april, but if I renew it now it'll cost me £190 but will be valid from now until march 2008

This is a good question.

My RFL runs out at the end of March. Last year I had the renewal ready to renew on-line but left it till the day of the budget and of course when they announced the increase, it applies immediately, so by leaving it one day I got caught out. Will learn from this and will renew tomorrow morning.

Bit different for you, madgrip, as you will be renewing one month earlier so it depends how much it goes up, as to whether you will be better off.

On the other hand, having a March renewal is better for the future if they are going to put the tax up every year. Looking increasingly likely!

When they did my car, it was excellent job on the alloy wheel and small scratch. However, they can't do the small stone chips that we all suffer on the front bumper. He told me they were too small to get the paint to bond sufficiently and therefore won't gaurantee the work.

Approaching M6 J3 on A444. Saturday evening about 6.30pm. Didn't get the reg.

I used Chipsaway last year and was charged £45 for one alloy wheel repair and touching up a small scratch.

He did a brilliant job - impossible to tell where the wheel was damaged.

Have heard though, that some are not so hot!

Spotted a kuro coupe on Saturday about 1.00pm at the Tollbar island on A46/A45. Was along side it at the approach to the island but was not in the zed.

Ive come around to the bonnet bulge, however its not really a bulge, just an embossed dent!

Is the bulge cosmetic or does it actually the need clearance?
