will be putting my order in tomorrow, going for the 19 inch but not sure on the best tyre size, looking at 245x35x19 fronts and 285x35x19 rears am i going too wide dont want them sticking out passed the arch.
max.
I recently fitted 255/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear no trouble fitting
within the arches but this would also depend on your offsets
went the Toyo T1R route and I'm very happy with all the extra grip.
-
South coast wheels in southampton might do them for you.
Made a good job on my imports and fitted T1R'S for me.

That Nismo price looks superb and exactly the same as the group buy price. Although can't remember if blacky factored import duty into his price? I may get involoved with one of these in the near future depending on finances!
Group buy was £800 delivered to your door

Guys,
For those that have imported wheels etc from the states, whats a typical shipping cost?
Does $980 sound a lot, cos it does to me, but was just wondering if someone can confirm??
I recieved mine on Tuesday they were ordered the previous Wednesday,
came by fedex and cost about $350.
So yes $980 does sound a lot

6 weeks ago I sold my beloved Civic Type-R not knowing what my next car would be.
2 weeks later I had driven the vx220, S2000 and 350z. Insantly fell in love with the 350z and decided to buy an import...
This week went to an importer and saw a 2003 zed and loved it. Bartered and gave a deposit. Next morning phoned to get a month and year of reg for my insurance and was told it was actually a 2002, a few phone calls later and the importer didn't know if it was a 2002 or 2003.
I said I was now disillusioned with the sale and wanted my deposit back, to their credit said no problem.
So today saw a 2004 import so drove 100 miles to see it. First thing I noticed is that it was a 52 plate and the owner said sorry the advert must be wrong, it is a 2003 car (insant £1000 off when i started haggling). Started looking through the paper work and the car on the V5 was actually registered in sept 2002. At this point i walked away and mentioned that his advert was incorrect.
Just checked the advert and is now being advertised as a 2003, he is going to **** a lot of people off....
Anyway receieved my car cleaning kit all i need is a car

No just how you feel mate.
I was looking for a car for my good lady and spotted one in Autotrader
main VW dealer in Westbury, I'm in Southampton so about 50-60 miles.
Normally wouldn't go that far but it was about £1500 under book.
Thought it was a bit too cheap, so I ring them up to check all the fine
details. Has it got air con? Has it got alloys? Has it got cd?
Whats the general condition of the paintwork etc, etc.
Answer yes,yes,yes, its unmarked sir.
So a nice trip out the following Sunday morning, and guess what.
No air con,no cd,no alloys, scracthed to f**k, dash has holes in it for
gods sake UNMARKED!
Needless to say I let them know I was not happy!
All ended well as they say went off to Guildford which was a nice run
past Stonehenge and all. Found a car with a private seller and she's over
the moon with it. Which is great as she hasn't said to much about
me new wheels.
-
Miami-GT, you might get more interest if you priced them less than what they can be bought for 'normal price' elsewhere....
For example, we sell the exact same thing for £68.

How much is your postage?

I would say an Andy Walsh day is ideal.
You can get you and 3 mates and he will teach you quite a lot about the car and how to take it to the limit.
Going on track at airfield may be crowded and have risks. andy will set up a couple of courses when you go on your own, he has high speed corner designed to ensure you take it just beyond the limit of the car and the driver. Has massive ruin off and is designed to teach you where the limit is.
I would be willng to take one of the 4 places if you want, also think I will see him Friday/Sat so can ask if him.
See his site:
Put me down for that one Steve subject to calender?

Mindless inconsiderate arseholes
Who probably do it out of spite
Double park and let them think your arrogant!!!
Thats what I do,after suffering countless dents on previous cars.
I double park everywhere I go,get @*!# loads of abuse, but hey no dents!

Ok guys, I'm gonna show off my stupidity again!
We've all heard that you shouldn't have the air con on and have the windows open, but why? What does it actually do to the system?
It won't do anything to the "system"
but are you trying to get cool or cool down the world?
He he, nah mate was just wondering. Obviously I wouldn't be driving all over the place with the air con on and the windows open but I've always been told that you shouldn't do it but never really understood why.
No real reason but your just making it work hard!
