On what car - not much point comparing same tyres on different cars A 215BHP fwd MINI but thats not a 350Z ., no good saying tyres are no good if your not comparing like for like???

I,m going to put some new tyres on the car,(fed up with the crap Bridgestones !! ) been quoted a very reasonable price on some Falkens ,never used this brand before,they are a Japanese make so I,m hoping they will be a decent make..Tyre retailer says a lot of track day people use them .., anyone on here had any experience good or bad with them? Wow just seen "The Run" dvd ...if I hadnt bought a 350Z ,I,d go and buy one anyway ..what a great advert for Nissan..any one else viewed this ? not quite as thrilling as the "Rendezvous " footage with the V12 Ferrari gunning it through Paris on unclosed roads.. but still very good ..

Jesus !! I was only moaning about tyre noise The next thing I know I,m getting hooked into spending £000,s on stuff to make it even noisier GREAT I LOVE IT !!!

LOL, No more worrying about tyre roar.... But worrying about how your gonna afford induction kit or new zorst Yes too right ,do HKS do a set up fot the Z ? I must say it sounds quite tame unless you are really gunning it also I,m not used to the back end stepping out all the time ; with the old Mitsy it was 4 wheel drive and hung in there quite well...mind if it did let go you were going to be in BIG trouble

GOTCHA last car I had was a Mitsy Twin Turbo GTO .with HKS straight through pipes and HKS induction kit and a dump valve the bloody thing made that much noise I never got to hear tyre roar

[Tim, your tyres are exactly the same as mine.. wish we could compare I've got the JWT popcharger, the sound of that does tend 2 distract u from any road noise Sorry no idea what a JWT popcharger is ? But I,m sure we,ll have a meet somewhere or other Cheers Tim

Tyre pressure as recommended,no tonneau cover(may have to buy one if it makes that much difference ? ) no bose got a Sony fitted now LOL perhaps a louder silencer will sort it .?
