Appreciate the heads up but bought cheaper from cleanyourcar - even with the 20% discount. How does that work?

Maybe leave it the professionals next time Stu. Never seen such a pigs ear made of such a simple job. Your comments above really made me laugh so I'm sure I'm not the only one amused by your misfortune.
Pleased they're on and looking great.
:-)))

It's me selling this, happy to answer any questions you guys have and can probably sort some more pics if you need them. (Would have to get home to do that and not there much at the mo. ) :-)
-
It was Rita if it was a standard car - she's not on the forum. She lived in my place before me and I also have an UY GT4!!
-
hope you have a good time guys muchos jealousy
I doubt anyone will miss you John.
Sorry you can't make it mate. :-(

Original finish on GT4 wheels was black chrome, sometimes called shadow chrome.
HTH.

Great news, "Tyre removal/fitting" just £50 a corner.
-
Anone know if you can record directly to PC via the USB slot? I'm going to order 4 of them
Not sure if you got an answer to this - you can set it up as a webcam so recording directly should be easily done.

My engine developed a rattle that sounds just like yours. I hope for your sake it's not the same issue as mine.
Abbey will sort you out - they ended up rebuilding mine.
-
Just FYI, the car they're using is the V8 not the V10.

Hi Bob,
Speak to Phil at http://www.justcarkits.co.uk.
He sourced full kits for both my cars including the correct loom adaptors.
HTH.

You can get reasonable access to it with just the N/S wheel off if that helps.
-
It's passenger side on a RHD UK spec car. As per your pic.

I never win anything.

Dont race or drive outside your means and all will be well. If you'r not familiar with track driving in the wet then DONT do it coz it will bite you, simple as that. Best thing to do is arrange a few track nights leading up to your trip so you at least know what its like on track...
Feck, cant wait now...
Not sure I agree about your driving in the wet comment. My first trip out there it pi55ed down all weekend and we had a fantastic time. As you say "Dont race or drive outside your means and all will be well.".
I think you just keep the same mantra - wet or dry. If you're new to the place remember it can kill you and treat with utmost respect. The best advice I was ever given was "Drive it like an A road that you don't know".
Missing the place like mad.

I would say that EVERY GT4 had a plate installed when it left the factory, but who knows whats happened to them in the fives years that have passed........
Not so Liam, I know of two GT4 owners who had to fight to get badges. Plaques were fitted by the selling Dealer rather than in Sunderland and a few plaques have come up for sale on ebay directly from employees (maybe ex employees) of Dealerships.
I doubt you will manage to get hold of unused badges now Paul but might be worth a mail to Nissan CS. Good luck.
-
Each car was supposed to come with two plaques - one fitted and one spare.
Any excuse.
-
Best I've managed with a camera. As Liam says, very difficult to capture.

I'ld love to go to the ring but cant see it happen this year
This it the time to beat:
8:26 Nissan 350Z Horst von Saurma Sport Auto (10/2003)
That will be a full lap - the industry standard. Bridge to gantry is somewhat shorter.
-
Thanks for the advise - I'll get in touch with Lizard
He'll probably tell you to change your tyres, i.e. increase grip levels so the ABS doesn't cut in.
-
Please note if you're coming to the pub we will be there from around 8.30 rather than 8 as originally stated. Hope some of you will come along and let me buy you a drink.
Last time I was there I got a free hug from a drunk woman.
-
Bit early in the season for the Zed to have it's blanket taken off! Am sure there will be some other meets during the year
It's not really a 350z meet as such, more an owners get together for a chinwag and a few beers.
-
I see you seem to have had a personality transplant, David.
Not at all mate, I'm still a lovely bloke.
-
all were of legal driving age.
gave me a giggle in the morning
was it a race on the PS3 or in actual cars? what did you have to do to win?
It was at Bedford and included driving the red 350Zs they had at the time on track in wet and dry conditions, an off road challenge, go-kart race, acceleration/braking challenge, driving a Murano with a ball balanced in a bowl on the bonnet, a lap of the 'ring on a simulator, gymkhana in a Micra and other bits and pieces. It was a fantastic event and was televised as well.
The prize was GT4 1/176 along with a few other lovely bits and pieces. Beating Tiff was actually a separate event for the Sunday Times. (I have been a lucky boy really.)
Stew, I really would love to see loads of owners there but realise you would have a fair way to come - I'll understand if you can't make it.

I've had my M3 nearly six months and only just figured out how to get full iphone integration. Locking the car from the phone is cool but pointless! Lol.
