  1. Problem resolved. Despite getting P300 and no specific cylinder misfire, I found a faulty coil pack. Checked resistance of all to find the faulty one. Car now sounds better than it ever has. Now time to get it back racing!

  4. Thanks. Is there a way of testing them without replacing? Would I not get a code for a specific cylinder or could they all be failing?
  5. We were racing at Croft a few weeks back. First race successful, but second race had a misfire and we retired the car. Code p300 shown, reset but didn’t go away. Replaced spark plugs as the tips were looking bad. This didn’t resolve the issue. When at home I got a fault p340 bank1, this lasted a short while, came back a couple of times, but appears to be intermittent. I have replaced this sensor, but still getting misfire. Plugged obd in today and got an occasional message stating Fuel system 2 ol fault. During the race, the engine did get very hot, to the point the header was full of water. I have no doubt there are numerous potential causes, but would appreciate some pointers to check before spending lots of money. Any advice greatly appreciated. All being well, Silverstone 19th August!
  6. 350z MY04 Owing to the car going to be raced I am removing the centre instrument cluster and running an Aim Solo2 DL for data. Car ran fine without the cluster, but for some reason the charging voltage dropped to 11.7v rather than hovering around 14v. Can anyone advise how I can resolve?

  10. Need to replace front anti roll bar bushes. Bar diameter is 40mm, but can only find bushes up to 34mm. Can anyone please advise where to get them from?
  11. Does anyone know what this white box is under nearside dash? Getting car stripped and ready to race and now have clicking noise from this box when ignition on. It has happened since I disconnected and moved battery and put in the isolator switch. It’s purely annoying and doesn’t cause any issues with starting or running the car. I’ve tried clicking the key fob, but has no effect. Any advice to identify and stop it appreciated.
