  1. This was by far my favourite modification so far

Japspeed K4 twin-exit exhaust, combined with a rear bumper tuck so that the pipes are showing from behind. Glad to take out some of these rusty pipes from underneath. Three self-tapping bolts for the bumper tuck

What's more, the exhaust seems very responsive to foot control. Keeping the throttle light, it's barely louder than stock and will definitely be girlfriend-friendly. But ramp up the revs and it gets very exciting.

  2. Removed the front numberplate and badge

Filled, sanded to 5000-grit and re-sprayed

During the process, I noticed quite a lot of existing damage on the lower edge of the bumper. So I'll probably look to change the entire thing to a Nismo V3 with professional paint-job in the near future

But here we are for now...

Looking good mate, always nice to see the info and data logs, however don’t think I’ve ever known anyone to use dot 3 for these especially as dot 4 all round is better due to higher boiling point which is definitely needed on these as they get so hot.

Keep the good work coming 😊

    Thanks

This is partly why I wanted to make a full dataseta. Half of the specs I had to find on forum threads and not always sure how reliable things are

    I've updated the top

  4. Hey all.

Thought I'd start a build thread for my 350z

Purchased my 350z last year. Photos attached are from the day of purchase

Slightly worn in places - but completely stock car

GT edition with track Rays wheel option

The aim is to DIY as much as possible, which forces me to tinker and improve my mechanical knowledge

My long-term goal (looking 3-4 years ahead) is to turbo the car myself and learn to mess with the ECU

I've previously heavily modified a mini R53, so this is a nice upward progression

I'm also a bit of a data nut, so I'll be dropping facts and figures into the area below as I find them.

I'd love to make a comprehensive reference for enthusiasts
