@HEADPHONES has done this too, worth asking them how it went, can't find the thread off the top of my head. Think he used the a restore kit, but maybe the results are still good?

They're not as nimble as the MX-5, more of a Sports/Muscle cruiser hybrid.

Welcome. Transmission is usually noisy on the HR models, rattling could be due to lightweight flywheel.

Very easy to tear the AC ribbon cable like you've said, slow and steady is the way.

Welcome, may be worth looking at 2013+ models as these are meant to use the better oil gallery gaskets.
