  1. Hi all, first post here. I wonder if anyone has had this problem before or can help. A while ago at the beginning of this year I got fault code P1084 for bank 2 camshaft position, so replaced the sensor with a genuine part from Nissan. About a week or two later the check engine light come back on with the same code which led me to believe that the timing chain was stretched and needed to be replaced. I had the chain replaced with genuine parts bought as a full kit from TORQEN. After this was replaced the check engine light did not keep coming back on and so I thought the problem was fixed. Since the chain was replaced I have done around 7000 miles without any problem, but just recently I have got another check engine light with the same P1084 code. I have tried swapping around the camshaft sensors with Bank 1 to check if the sensor could be faulty, but the code keeps recurring as Bank 2. Is it possible that the chain has stretched again in the short time or is there anything else that can be causing this issue? If anybody could offer any advice on this matter it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
