    Ok thanks for the info. There was a 2007 engine for sale, is this ok for a 2006 car if it's the VQ35DE Version ? Sorry to have to ask I'm not at all technical with engines. Cheers.

    Hi all, really need some help / advice if possible please. It seems ( 99% sure ) the rod bearings have gone on my car. Had it recovered Friday and it's in a local Garage in Grays, Essex. Been searching for a new engine but of course there's a big chance I'll get the wrong one. And I could buy another Oil burning nightmare. Pretty sure I have the rev up version. Would anyone know how I can either get mine fixed or where I can buy a decent new engine please ? Only just joined the forum, hope I'm posting in the right place. Thanks very much for any advice, all the best. Steve.
