Hi, I replaced the struts as they were shot anyway and the penny trick worked to a degree. The boot was still a real pain to open but even harder now that they’ve both bent over completely. Concerned that your OEM ones have failed to fix your problem, I don’t want to waste £60 and be no better off!

Hi All, Is anyone still refurbing those boot popper spring things? I saw a post from here from a few years ago via google that a chap was doing them a lot cheaper than buying them new. I tried the penny trick and replaced the struts but now the actual springs have buckled and bent... Cheers guys!
