When did Nissan upgrade the engine to 296bhp and how do you tell by looking at the cars? Also do the higher power models all carry post 2006 £500+ roadtax??

Hi Guys Looking at getting into a 350Z asap. Got a few performance cars but looking to get into one of these as my recently purchased MX5 is a bit lacking in power.
