  1. Recently bought my 350 and it has been driving me mad. The car used to start fine on cold starts and stall out on warm starts. Now on cold starts it revs up, dies, kicks back to life and idles. Still stalls everytime on a warm start. I’ve reset the ecu, the idle and the throttle body closed and open positions. Doing research I’ve found the problem could be a bad fuel pump, a bad coil pack, a bad cam sensor, a bad O2 sensor or a bad flywheel. The car throws no codes so I don’t even know where to begin to check. The starting issues didn’t bother me before but the car now dies when driving if I put the clutch in and let the revs drop to idle. My specific symptoms make me believe it’s a cam sensor but I really can’t be sure. Has anyone had this problem with no warning lights or codes coming on?
  2. Recently picked up my 350 with a cat back invidia exhaust installed by the previous owner. Occasionally after driving the car for a while the check engine light comes on and the previous owner said this was to do with the car not being tuned for the new exhaust/intake setup. Resetting the ecu gets rid of the CEL but I don't want to keep having to do this. The previous owner claims the uprev tune would sort this problem but before I spend the money I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem with the invidia exhaust? Or if it could be a bad o2 sensor? I have very little knowledge when it comes to tuning so any advice would be great thanks
  3. Just bought my Z a few days ago and love it but there are some issues I'm not sure of as I have no experience with Zs or any sports cars. On a cold start the car starts perfectly then warms up and idles around 800-1000 RPM. When the car is warm it starts but the revs drop immediately and it dies unless I open the throttle slightly. Also it then idles around 500 rpm (Thought this was a bit low for an idle but not sure what the standard idle should be). The RPM also drops very low after you rev it and almost cuts out but it hasn't died solely after a rev, only when starting. The previous owner said a pulley on the drive belt had seized for him before which was causing the car to die every time he tried to let it idle but all of the pulleys seem OK. the car has an induction kit and an exhaust with upgraded cats (could have an exhaust leak need to get under to check) and also a has a head spacer. is this a common problem or could it be an airflow issue? Thanks for your help. *Car is an 04 with 125k miles
