Luckily in my case they stopped to exchange details. But I see no reason in not being able to claim off their insurance as long as you have their number plate and the incident on film.

Oh dear, this happens all too often. I hope you can get a decent image of the offender, number plate or what not.
Yep got it all on camera

A Toyota Hilux truck somehow caused it, no idea how

I have run a front facing cam for over a year now but keep thinking of getting a rear also. Do you have any info on the one you have? I've had a look around previously, but wasn't sure how it would work with such a slope on the rear screen. Thanks
I have the Apeman FHD dual camera. Pretty easy to install and can't really tell its there with all the wires tucked away. Had to screw the rear camera into the plastic but its that small you don't notice it

Too right it is! It'll be his insurance I'm claiming on Got the car booked in for an evaluation on Friday, hopefully all goes well and she can be back on the road soon!

Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, spirited driving does seem to be the contributing factor to the smell although the tyres don't seem all that hot.
I'll see how it is once my summer set are on.

Hey all,
So I've been a proud Z owner for around 2 months now, no problems so far apart from the occasional burning rubber smell coming from... somewhere.
The car has 62k miles on it so its not exactly a new car. The only thing i have had fitted (so far) are a set of winter tyres but there is more than enough clearance between the tyre and the arch so I can't imagine its that.
Anyone else had this issue?
Its the 2009 base model 370z

Okay thanks, will 3 litres be enough?

Hey,
just looking for some help on what I'll need when changing the gearbox oil, i.e what oil type is best, will i need to replace the plug gaskets and where to get them from etc.
Any help is appreciated,
Cheers.
