It's been a couple of months since I took the plunge and upgraded my '08 350z to Berks HFC and Cobra exhaust + Y-Pipe. With it all added and the engine re-tuned it's a joy to drive.
But that drone....
I do a lot of motorway driving, and 2000-2500 revs there is some serious cabin noise. Trawling through the forums lots of people say that the drone fades as the carbon builds up, but no such luck (at least so far).
I know exhaust notes and noise is a very subjective thing, so I've tried to get some sort of measurement. Here's Android's guess at the noise levels in 6th doing 60mph:
dB readout
Not the most accurate measuring device in the world, but hopefully gives you a better idea. As for the frequency, it's the 125Hz range that's the culprit:

So a question to all the exhaust gurus out there: What are my options?
From what I've read so far:
1. Swap back to the stock cats
2. Swap out the Cobra to another exhaust
3. Sound proof the **** out of the boot
4. Ignore it and eventually it will get quieter/I will lose enough hearing to ignore it :-)
Hard to answer without being subjective I know, but what would people recommend?
Or if someone is in Hampshire/Berkshire area and fancies a winter meet-up?
