  1. Hey guys and gals, ive got a bit of problem that im hoping someone on here can help me out with. Basically ive had a few problems with my battery, about a month ago the light would flicker on and off on the dash. Mainly when i stopped at traffic lights it would start flickering but it wouldnt cut the car out or anything, car carried on driving fine no problems. Now i have drained the battery accidentally in the last year so thought it could be down to that and purchased a new battery last week but after fitting the new battery it still does it,if anything it actually stays on more and not so much of a flicker. Ive checked connections to the battery which seem fine and because i recently changed the oil filter i actually got back under the car just make sure nothing was knocking the alternator but all seems good underneath.

The whole light coming on only really lasts 20-30 minutes and then it seems fine after the car is warm. The battery gauge in the car seems fine as well, the needle sits half way on start up and then three quarters of the way after being warmed up.

Has anybody had this issue? and if so can anyone direct me with what to do.

(will just put tape over it soon!!)

Unless your going out with the daughter of the event organiser then it’s not looking good mate I’m afraid. I know of one club ticket which is available but it not like years before when you could sell them on. The new style e tickets have the owners car reg on them and have to be displayed on entry.

Alright mate, thanks for getting back to us. Hopefully I’ll remember next year and try to get on the club stand. Can I still just roll up there and pay at the gate just for general admittance? Or is it a ticket only event?

  3. My 53 plate Zed failed it's MOT. It failed because of excessive movement on the rear wheel bearing,is that something that can be adjusted or does it need to be replaced?

Any help will be much appreciated!!

    Thank you,Simon.

  4. So I need a bit of help with my 53 plate Zed and any information will be much appreciated! Does anybody on here know where to get a re-condishened steering rack? Or somewhere that will supply one and install it? I'm assuming it's going to be quite pricey but does anybody know how much a job like this will cost?

    Thanks if you can help,Simon.

  5. Anyone else sick of it?

From the snippets of news I've caught up with today, I see they're trying to shift blame for the tower fire on a fridge somehow? Like a get out clause? Even brand specific, like a witch hunt!

No one ever says "Yes, I cocked right up. I'm sorry"

    Spineless.

    Am I totally wrong?

    Agreed!!!

  6. Thanks for the advice guys! Much appreciated! I checked my oil a whole load of times and got different readings. I ended up putting a fair bit of oil in and it seems alright now. The pressure seems good and the oil level seems good as well.

I've got a new sensor on order and once it arrives I'll be doing a service,at least then I'll know how much oil is in there.

  7. The gallery gaskets tends to affect early 370's and 350 HR's. As above, keep and eye on levels. Out of interest, did it go back to how you're used to it being once cool, ie next day?

well ive not started the car up today as of yet. Once im back from work im going to check the oil level again and start her up and see what the pressure does.

When i checked it yesterday after a few hours the pressure was still pretty low.

  8. Hey thanks for that,I had a quick read of the link you sent and noticed that it was referring to the later model and the 370z. Would it still be the same case with my DE early 350z?

  9. Yeah? That is quite relieving. It's only worried me because like I said it's sat at half way on 60 psi every time I've driven it until today when it's dropped quite a lot.

    Thanks for that though.
