  1. Couldn't find one quick enough so ended up buying a 2006 car to rip the gearbox off (and then I'll eventually fix my gearbox and put that on it and sell it). Managed to buy the car, get the gearbox off it, take the gearbox off mine, replace the clutch and flywheel, and get the new gearbox on mine in the last couple of days. Now just having a nightmare bleeding the clutch line, but hopefully once that's done it should be all good to go drifting next week
  2. Yeah I'm tempted to get them soon but for now I want to keep stock steering lock just so I don't rely on the extra lock saving me (like I do in my GT86 that's got a full steering angle kit)
  3. Are you going to rockingham on the 29th? If so, see you there (and there will be 2 of my friends in 350s drifting as well)
  4. I've been reading quite a few threads on here since I got my 350 about 2 months ago but only just got round to creating an account, so figured I'd post here saying hello. Bought a 2003 JDM import that I'm using mainly for drifting and another project to work on modifying. So far I've done the following: HSD monopro coilovers Kaaz 2 way LSD Mishimoto oil cooler Koyo radiator Invidia gemini exhaust (cat back) SPL control arms front and rear and a few other little bits and bobs There's a playlist of all the mods I've done on my youtube channel here if anyone's interested: and here's the first time I went drifting in the 350 (with the stock diff still) : I'll be the first to admit I don't really have a clue what I'm doing, so I'll thank you all in advance for putting up with dumb questions from me lol Chris
  5. Yeah I was expecting them to be kind of expensive but didn't realise just how few were around for sale. Half tempted to just buy a 2006 350Z and take the gearbox out of it, then sell the engine and body panels etc separately to make some of the money back.
  6. Are you still upset that I ruined those body panels on mine that you wanted haha
  7. Just posted up a separate thread asking if anyone has one for sale but then saw this (sorry, should have looked here first before posting!). Is your CD009 still for sale?
  8. Hi, I think the 3rd gear syncro is on its way out in the 6MT in my 2003 DE, but going to check the linkage and change the oil etc tomorrow to see if that helps. If it turns out it is indeed the syncro that's gone though, I figured I should start looking around for a decent condition CD009 gearbox as I want to get this sorted and get the car back on track ASAP. Had a look around online but the best I could find was one in denmark and the ad didn't fill me with confidence. Anyone know of anywhere I can get hold of a CD009 in the UK? The car is going to get a lot of abuse so not willing to replace it with another original gearbox - only interested in CD009 (or perhaps CD009 internals that I can get installed in my box, but I assume that ends up just as expensive and more time consuming than buying a complete CD009 box). Thanks Chris
