  1. A Peugeot Partner van unfortunately. Will be very sad to see her go but at 53

and shot knees it’s finally time. Have loved every minute of the Z journey it has to be said. For me still one of the best looking affordable cars out there. Always turns heads and gets

people commenting. Same can’t be said for the van of course .

  3. I purchased Malian short tips from eBay new and had no issues whatsoever. Yes they stick out slightly further however the fit was perfect and the sound in my opinion is great. For just over £200 I’m very happy compared to prices for other makes.

    Hi Chris

Sorry for not getting back to you been a bit busy. Yes still available and if they can be collected then I will let them go for £70 to be fair.

    Small job to bore scope.

Much bigger job to replace the head or the bad valve.

    NISSAN OEM-Valve Cover Gasket 132708J112

    Hi Alex

could it be a stuck open exhaust valve and if so anyway to unstick with head on car ? Would I see anything with valve cover off turning over engine that might give me an idea ? Is it worth running a decoke fluid through oil do you think? Car still runs albeit poorly due to zero compression on cylinder 4.
    regards Colin

  7. If it was that Alex how big a job is this for a diy person? I recently changed valve covers etc but cylinder heads are a different league I guess. Would I be best fitting a used head Cost wise mate ? Any idea on cost ?
    thanks for quick reply btw

  8. Hi guys

2004DE with 98k. Sudden bad misfire with code reader suggesting cylinder 4. Today I completed compression test. 5 cylinders were all 150psi however cylinder 4 had nothing.  No reading at all. I would of expected something if worn rings ? Would a valve issue cause zero compression ? Any help much appreciated.

    cheers Colin

They’re decent enough tbh, certainly a solid mid-range option. I’d be happy to run them, put it that way.

Thanks Dan. If they good enough for you then that’s a thumbs up for me. Appreciate your input.

The MO will be a slightly different compound to a regular one, but not so much as you’d notice. I’ve tried identical tyres in both N-spec (Porsche OE) and non N-spec, and I couldn’t tell any difference whatsoever.

Thanks for the reply Dan. Any thoughts on the tyres please ? I know their not Michelin but my budget won’t stretch  that far. Currently running potenza re50 all round and to be honest I don’t like them personally. Very hard ride and like a shopping trolley in the wet. Fronts need changing but don’t want to mix axles hence I have a chance for 4 nearly new Hankooks.

    Any advice much appreciated

  11. Hi guys

I have the chance to purchase a nearly new set of Hankook Ventus v12 evo2 tyres cheap from a friend. They are marked MO ( Mercedes Original )

Question 1. Anyone have any experience with running these on a 350 ?
Question 2. Is the MO an issue or are they the same as standard just stamped for Mercedes benefit ?

    Regards
