If you just want the standard wheel retrimming to your preferred spec (without all the reshaping that some go in for), then send it to me. :)

As a paid up Trader on here, I should really be the first recommendation anyway... ;)

The thing is, i use the car as daily and royal will provide the wheel for me on a swap basis. Are you able to offer that?

  2. I agree the show was poorly organised, I still had a good day though, the first proper car show that I have been to, so couldn't compare it to anything else.

I arrived at the services to meet everyone at 8:20am, no one turned up  Or left early? The individual display was a joke, i won't be doing that again, even though it was only £2 it was a waste of money and time.

  3. I noticed today that my exhaust heat shield was hanging on by a thread as the metal around the bolt heads had corroded and created larger holes.

I tried to remove the bolts to fabricate some large washers and re attach it, but when undoing the bolts all the heads just sheared clean off.

Its currently off the car, does anyone know what its shielding? Can i just leave it off? It seems its only protecting the boot floor and thats really far away from the exhaust, I cant see its near the fuel tank?

    Thanks

  4. Just out of interest Jamie, how long have you been running them?

They were on the car when i bought it from the previous owner, so no idea. I have inspected them though and they are in very good condition, it also just passed its MOT and im sure if there was an issue it would have been flagged then.

This is how mine looks (it doesnt look bad, just wish it was a tad lower):

not sure if its the camera or just the way the wheels are, but they are 18" rims right?

    Yes 18's, read gtr-d - front gtr

  5. Looks great man. Cant beat burnt tips.

Mine are basically touching and haven't got any heat marks or that been on a year and a half. Do have a different bumper though

Mines already melted on the left side  ordered some longer hangers and going to tidy up the melted bit at the weekend.

  6. I have wanted some burnt tips for ages, but cant justify or afford the full ti exhaust upgrade, and i am really happy with my current full system, so Torqen imported me some Motordyne Ti Burnt tips. Fitted them today, really happy withe the results.

They are a little close to the bumper which concerns me as mannn these things get hot quick compared to the steel ones! So i'm on the hunt for some longer exhaust hangers:

  8. Does anyone else find that the Tein springs are an odd setup, my fronts look perfect, but my backs look like a monster truck compared.

Are they 14mm rear - 17mm front, as thats the maximum setup without having to buy camber arms and bolts?

Thinking about getting some 20mm just for the backs to even it all up.

  9. TDI Upreved mine last Thursday.

2004 DE, 92k, Berk HFC's, stainless unbranded y pipe, cobra cat back, 5/16 Motordyne plenum, Shell V-Power Nitro+. Made 285hp.

To be honest, i'm not sure if thats a good or bad result? I wasn't really chasing hp figures.

Car feels awesome now though, throttle response is crazy, he said he sorted the fuelling out massively, it was running really lean with my mods prior to the Uprev (which was expected), feels like a totally different car!

  11. Im wondering if anyone has a more detailed guide on fitting the Tarmac Sportz g35 spats.

All i can find online is, use self tapping screws and tigerseal.

With the self tappers, do i just use those in the pre drilled holes for the arch area and the tigerseal on the rest?

    Thanks
