  1. Per the uprev website there is this place in Warrington - http://www.tdi-north.com/ that have links to Abbey Motorsport, they are a bit closer. Anyone had any dealings with these? What are peoples thoughts on earthing kits?
  2. I will check on the Y Pipe question when i get the car. Wont be going decat/sports cat - had more than my share of issues with cats on the current car so i will be leaving well alone unless they need replacing at some point. I assuming that with the horsham plenum spacer containing "Alloy Strut Bar Spacers" that it doesnt that it doesnt fit with the strut set up as standard - does this cause any issues with the bonnet? Oil change, tyres/suspension and weight reduction will come in the future when funds allow. Who is the best for remapping the 350z?
  3. So I pick my car up in the coming weeks(it's a 2004), and although I plan to enjoy the car in its current form, I've never been one to leave the tinkering for long. The car already has a cobra resonated cat back exhaust. As far as in aware nothing else has been done performance wise. So forced induction and major works aside for now, from what I've read the following are a good start: Plenum spacer - motordyne now that wasso doesn't make them anymore Flyboy air box mod Panel filter - will go with k&n as I have the recharge kit from a previous car! Any other suggestions stains before a probably remap? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Can anyone recommend a specialist in the north staffs area for the 350z? Nothing specific required just yet, but will be looking for somewhere to service my 2004 when the time comes! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. So the viewing yesterday was successful. Ive put a deposit down on a 2004 350Z GT spec with 57,000 on the clock. It has a Cobra stainless resonated cat back exhaust, LED rear lights, NISMO V2 front bumper and a pioneer double din head unit. Full service history and receipts to suport, extremely clean and tidy for its age. Really chuffed with my purchase. Just got to wait for the private plate it has on to be removed then i can go and collect.
  6. Well safe to say i enjoyed the little test drive tonight. Ive changed the plans to go and view tomorrow, although someone is apparently going to view before me so it might be a wasted trip. Ive got the patience thats for sure, i waited 6 months for the right ST170 to come along, and im in no rush this time either, but would be nice to get one wrapped up soon.
  7. Debro - I know your right, I thought i might as well as he offered! veeg33 - thanks, i have read that through a couple of times now!
  8. Hi, Ive decided that my next car will be a 350z, so thought id sign up and say hello and get some tips from you. My current car is a Ford Focus ST170, which i Love and have owned for nearly 5 years now, but its time for a change and after looking at Mercs and BM's, i cant get away from wanting a 350z. Driving a friends imported one tonight, as a test to check im happy with the layout and it caters for everything i want - which im sure it will! Im going to look at 2004 with 57k on at the weekend, full GT spec, so hopefully this will deliver all it promises. Anyway thats a brief history and reason behind me popping up, hopefully i will be here for a while! Cheers Dan
