Hi
I’ve just bought a 2006 350Z convertible and driven it for a week and noticed the throttle is throttling down far too slowly when in cold or warm running.
When I rev up in neutral, the throttle response is quick and responsive but the revs don’t die quickly and take around 2-3 seconds to return to idle. Other than the throttle, the car runs smooth and there is no knocking noise when idling. I know the previous owner replaced the battery and wondered whether the throttle body needed re-programming or cleaning because it may be sticking.
What are your thoughts? Any ideas what this could be and is it going to cost me loads?
Regards, Gaz
