  2. An ex's sister asked me what my 350 was, so I started the whole Nissan 350z 3.5L V6 spout...she blanked immediately after i said Nissan :/

I think what had surprised most people who have shown interest is the engine size 'at my age'...?

  3. Thanks all :)

My cat to Y pipe studs were rusty lumps and...interesting to remove with my limited tools but I managed it in the end. So I would be happy to swap decats in/out when required, even if it takes more than 30mins for me.

Was mainly seeing if many people did know of friendly testers so I can be lazy :D

Have had a PM anyway, cheers guys!

  4. As I've been...gently guided towards the decat route by several friends there is the obvious MOT to deal with.

Not sure if I should ask but are there any 'friendly' MOT testers near Camberley, GU15, area? Maybe its best to PM me?

If not, do you decat guys swap in your cats once a year?

  5. I think with any HFC, come MOT time be prepared to swap them out for the OE ones as its never a given that they'll pass the emissions - some cars pass and some cars fail

I may as well decat then 😎

  6. Right fitted my Ark exhaust today. Sounds lovely. Not sure on the adjustable pipes though makes it look abit cheap would rather them be solid rather than a sleeve with long bolts in.

Try turning the bolts the other way up/down, makes them less obvious from behind :)

I do like having them adjustable and have heard can change the levels of drone apparently. Not that Ive ever suffered from drone with my ARK

  7. Got to b ark grip fitted mine last Friday and loving it couldn't believe how well it fitted bolted it straight up where it sat and it exited spot on no jiggling I was very expressed definitely worth the extra

No droning in car at any speed although on first fitting I thought it was a tad on the quiet side it's definitely not a howler but just came through dartford tunnel at it comes alive as u give it some and then there's the look from behind there's no better exhaust out there on looks

Yes got my Ark Grip (plus Berk HFC) fitted today too. What an amazing sound and seems to have upped the horses too (or is it my imagination).

    Most likely your imagination!

The sound only gets better with time too, love the ARK :D

  8. I live at the top of the Red Road, the Camberley end.

Do you ever go to the shops at Heatherside? If so, if you look at the house next to the school that is opposite the shops car park, there is a lovely black 350z with black wheels parked there. I see it most mornings and it sounds unbelievable. Probably nicest sounding Zed I've heard.

Yeah I pop to the Sainsburys fairly often, think Ive seen the black Z
