Sooo much hate for the Auto lol.
They are still a plenty capable car and although a non turbo model isn't as desirable, they are still increasing in value (manuals more so) chucking a turbo on these can give good gains, up to 400-500 hp on standard internals on as little as 0.5bar boost...
I am keeping it for now, i have plans for it. Will continue to be lurking in the back ground and saving for a Z though...

So it's a hard choice but I am putting her up for a possible swap in hopes of getting into my first 350z!
Looking for a straight swap for a manual GT Coupe. Standard bumpers and Wheels still on would be ideal...!
Located in West Midlands
1993 J-Spec NA Auto
138,014 miles (mix of miles & km I believe)
Mot'd till 22nd May 2016
Scorpion Alarm & Immobiliser
The car has undergone a fair chunk of work since I brought her. She's my daily so expect the miles to go up!
Overall body condition, well, it's got the usual dinks, dents, scratches and stone chips of a car it's age and drivers wing is starting to fade slightly.
The engine is solid, recently had the flex plate replaced as it had broken and was causing a noise.
Whilst the engine was out, all seals and gaskets were changed apart from the head gasket. Along with the upper and lower sump being re sealed. Auto box shaft seals were replaced also.
I have plenty of receipts and MOT certificates from previous owners.
Engine has been fully serviced a few months back with HKS Oil, HKS Oil Filter, HKS Spark Plugs, HKS Air Filter, Cam-belt Kit, Auxiliary Belt, Auxiliary Idler Pulley/bearing, Engine Coolant, Distributor Cap, Rotor Arm, Fuel Filter, Fresh Auto Box Oil & new battery. I'm aware of the rules , thats why they are sat in the garage collecting dust , I expect I will need to cut them up at some point and dispose of them
Paint them bright colours and flog em
Unless you still have your licence, then you can sell em as they are.
Good to see so many are into it

The Mall...isn't that more suited to CQB type weapons?
My ICS M4 with custom parts....(about 4 year old pic tho )
Correct, it was bloody awesome! My Mp5 had a collapsable stock until my strap gave when i was using my pistol. The stock smashed when it hit the floor

I used to play quite a bit. Unless the rules have changed, Your gun 'has got to be' blue (or sometimes yellow, yuk) when you are new and dont have a licence.
once you have been to 7 affiliated games with a few month period, you get your 'airsoft licence' and are allowed to own a reall looking gun.
the psi of your canisters is limited, but many people increase it to give more range (and better chance of bleeding an opponant).
but as a sport, its awesome. i used to like paintball until i played airsoft. now when i go paintball i cry because its so so so bad.
You have to have a UKARA licence to buy the replica painted ones. If you don't have it, they have to be 2 toned.
You don't need the licence to play though, only to buy.

Humm....If you get seen by curtain twitching nosey parkers in London flashing those things around, and have the wrong coloured skin I suspect your get a vist from the boys in blue pretty sharpish...Ofcourse not implying the London Met is anything but colour blind
Thankfully i don't live in London or anywhere near it lol
Not to say there isn't any curtain twitchers round my neck of the woods. Just have to be conscious about moving them around at home. Last thing i want is my door being kicked in at 4am by the old bill lol

Just taken onboard another hobby.
Airsoft. Does anyone on here play..?
Had my first crack a few weeks ago at a place called the Mall in Reading.
Was an absolute blast...!
Anywho, i am using a gas powered P226 with laser/light combo
And an MP5 as my primary. Its a work in progress and has had a suppressor, Top rail, Red Dot sight and full stock.
Will soon be relocating the battery into the stock, painting it black adding a bottom and side rail to mount a straight grip and torch

I would appreciate if people can refrain from telling me how much they think it's worth or asking me to break it. I'm not in a rush to sell.

I have seen my step son playing the latest variant of COD Zombies. Must say, I wasn't too impressed...
Me and he wife used to spend hours on the previous one, was a great way to spend an evening with a bottle of whisky too lol
-
Mega build dude.
Loving the work going into this
Sound deadening is by far the worst job to do in the world ever...!
-
I'm currently playing Bf4
Was all about Cod and was buying all the dlc to go with them at one point.
Absolute cash cow. Now i see it, i wont buy another.
They just seem to release a game with a load of map packs, then 6 months later, the new game comes out with new map packs and nobody plays the last one rendering all the maps etc you just brought effectively useless. Not to mention half the "new" maps they used to release were just re skinned old map layouts....
At least with Bf4, the game still gets new maps and dlc. Even after being out for so long. Hell, people still play it even though the new game is out..!
Definitely is a lot better and more team based imo
Working together is what wins rounds
Wont ever look back at another cod game....

I played COD 4 on my mates PS3 recently and it's still brilliant. Maps are perfect and no overpowered kill streaks or weapons
I think i stopped playing after Black Ops 2. Not played anything other than Battlefield sinse then as far as first person shooters go.
Although i did download the later version of GTA with First Person mode. That put a different spin on the game
-
Subscribed..!
I have already brought a few parts for mine and dont even own one yet...! Lol
I had the Rota GTR's on my Supra, not a bad looking wheel
Hoping to drift mine too when i get it, will be following with interest...!

Cheers mate yea doing the wheels transferred the way the car drove. IMO 20" wheels don't belong any where near a Z!
Couldnt agree more!
18" possibly the biggest i would go

Lovely colour that!
Not kept on the wheels, but she's your baby
What lip is that?
-
Some very useful info there guys.
Pretty shocked to see the JDM models arent undersealed mind...
-
Each to their own on buckets. I had a fixed position Bride Seat in my Supra, lovely seat, but getting in and out on a daily basis was not doing my back any favours...
Once your in, its great, but the in and out i couldn't be doing with.
I since swapped it back for the OEM seat and it now lives in my Skid car...

Love it, great build from start to finish and nice to see an S-Body that isnt rotten...!
Really must make the commute up to Driftland at some point, once i get out and learn in the BMW
-
Looks like I'm remapping so lol......
Reading into the begginer tuning mods myself in place for when I get my Z
I think the base mods and a supporting map are they way to go to get any benefit from them (as has been said)
-
Coming together nicely. Good call on changing the wheels, they looked a bit large for the car imo lol
