  1. This is a quote from a PM I had with tarmac the other day. I have ordered a set or JR wheels in the fitment he advised to clear the Brembo calipers, and sit closer to the arch without the need for spacers.

18x9.5 ET30 front 18x10.5 ET22 Rear is what we want for the Brembo Z

That's awesome, if you could post pictures up when you have them on that'll even more awesome! Chris from Tarmac emailed me back with advised 18x10,5 et12 & 18x9.5 et22 for the jr5 with 5mm spacers included. I'm gonna take him up on that offer :)

  2. Hi guys, if I may trouble yous, can you tell me from your experiences whether these wheels clear my standard brakes? My 350z is the 06 revup model still with standard suspension. The 9.5 is for the front and 10.5 is for the rear. Tyre wise, I'm not really sure what to get.

Thanks ever so much in advance!

  3. Hi guys I wanna know what engine oil Nissan dealers use on our engines (de)? Need to get the needed emergency oils from Asda. Mines the revup model and I've noticed the engine oil pressure gauge is always on 1/4 and then half way when I'm accelerating. The garage I bought the car from say they've serviced it from Nissan which I doubt, as the oil is already mucky and the dipstick doesn't show an accurate reading (done 430 miles since purchase)

Bought some fuch titan 5w30 from opieoils but doesn't arrive in a few days time and plus the 350z is my daily... Thanks and happy new year in advance!!

  4. As per title, was on my way back home from work and a eurocarpart driver in his mini van stuck his two fingers at me, at first I thought he was saying hi which I was gonna wave in return until I realised that wasn't the case. I'm shocked to say the least, having seen a 350z in the earlier morning which I was gonna ask if it was anyone around here at Sunderland Wessington way (you drive too fast! ;) ). The van dude kinda ruined my day, my ratchet could've proved useful if I spun around and chased him.

  5. Looks very nice jujun. B)

More than likely it is a "RevUp" model.

The easiest way to tell though would be to look at your rpm counter, ...if the redline is at 7K rpm then it is a DE RevUp, if it is at 6.5K rpm then it is the standard DE.

The HR Zed's engine has a 7.5K rpm redline fyi (easier to spot though due to the twin air intakes).

Thanks gmballistic :) Yeh I think it must be a RevUp model then. Booked into AAS (my local custom exhaust fabricator) for a new Ypipe and a catback, just to give more umph when I'm driving spiritly 😀

I've got to sever all communications there then, I'm from Middlesbrough. Sorry :p

Haha! We're bounded somehow since I've made my mark by studying in Teesside :D

Didn't realise there'd be a few fellow mackems on this forum! Look forward in meeting you guys, I hope I can come to the nearest meet without a Zed (just yet) ;)

  7. Hello all, I'm new to the Z scene but do know a few bits and bobs on nissans. Currently own an (rust-free!) S15 spec R which I've modified through the 2 years of ownership with some desirable bits. Will be looking to sell it after the 'lovely' weather passes by and go on a search for a 350z! Unless someone has a tasty one we can do a deal on a swap perhaps ;)

Looking forward in knowing you guys
