Pretty standard that the amp has continuous power when the headunit is on.

 

When you say it does not change anything, what do you mean ? Did you disconnect the earth cable while powered and no change ?

Did you earth it as shown in the instructions you posted ? Try cleaning the surface you earth to with a bit of sand paper and try again, most of the time a buzz is a bad earth connection somewhere, could also be a bad speaker connection too though. But the earth is easier to trace and check.

I'm not sure what you are asking in your first bit.

Both steering wheel and stalks came from a 2005 car, so will work in a 2004.

Leather is very good.
