Iv had it on a ramp and spinning the air con pump by hand seems very stiff. A mechanic suggested fitting a new pump. Car has only done 46k
Can the pump be refurbished? Anyone else had this problem? I didn't over Tighten the belt

Hello my rev up has snapped two air con belts in the past 1000miles. The first one had been fitted by the previous owner so I thought that had broke due to being over tightened but last night the one I fitted snapped. Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening and what to check? I can't find much online about 350z's snapping belts

You said you have a uprev engine? Did you mean revup? Plenum spacers are a waste of money on a revup engine unfortunately

I work in bodyshop and iv done smart repair. I wouldn't touch a mobile repairer with a barge poll! Especially chips away!

Fixed the issue. I contacted a Nissan mechanic I know and he told me to cut the plugs off airbag wires under the drivers seat and solder them together. Apparently they cause a resistance

I can't find the codes in the service manual. I'll have to wait till I have access to a pc instead of my tiny bloody phone screen! Thanks guys

That's a alot of fun! I used to have a weekend car and a car for work too but since Iv lived on my own cash has been alittle tight Haha my car only does 5k per year... I feel that I'm neglecting her now!
