  1. stunning patience and engineering skills (not to mention photographic) but, respectfully,,are not the 350z efi ITB kits from £900 suitable, also I am confused over the need of the modified 350 orig throttle body in Addition to the ITBs - is this just an interface for fly by wire throttle?

ps you should knock up a personal VTOL & Ultima in your lunch breaks :)

  2. It's a diesel, therefore completely incapable of making me lust after it.

    I'd rather drive a 318i than a 330d.

i too might have agreed...until i drove a repmobile mondeo tdc...by eck, it do fly..the boost transition feels pretty much similar to a Scooby! - Ok, it cant be but it genuinely strains your neck in 2nd and third :)

  3. well tried to get an exhaust sorted but found it hard as i dont use paypal so dont want to ues the fleabay, tried getting phone number for torqen but seems they dont have one listed, so tried tarmac sports but guy wasnt there when i phoned and the fella who answerd phone said he didnt know what exhausts they had for a 350z and told me to phone back later,,

so,, tryed revolution in gateshead who said they could only get half the miltek system they had advertised online which was no good,,, so went online to another place which name escapes me and ordered a buddyclub system got to check out and said card was being declined,,,

so thought to hell with it and got an issue of fast car magazine looked in the dealers section found buddy clubs number gave them a ring and finaly found someone who knew how to do business,,,, phewww what a week ive had ha,, :)

...sounds about par for the course in Uk from my experience too - made holiday accom + prof therapist inquiries recently - about 10% response - both my inquiries were stressing regular business - but judging by the rates these people charge, I guess they only work when they feel like it.. - B&B prices, a hundred plus per night?! (£40.000 pa per room from own house....)

  4. ...or outside the box..AJP 4.5 Flatplane V8 good for 450 / 450, smaller and lighter than the Z V6 ensuring a power to weight over the magic 300/300/ton - ultra responsive engine that would suit the Z mean streak a treat - avail with compact gbox and cheaper than a new LS3 kitted out

  5. from youtube experience only, the Invidia does sound good and not wishing to divert cash away from potential sales....have you googled 'muffler delete' - simply removing rear oversilenced box and re connecting tailpipes or custom tips to main resonator gives a close approximation to the best 'systems' with possibly more crackle and pop - you also save a fair bit of weight hanging out there at the rear - particularly good for roadsters - I suspect, splitting original 'muffler' and stripping out baffles may also have good results :)

  6. ..hmm, Griff isnt fly by wire so idle adjustment was simple - not sure if raising idle during re-map would keep fueling on during over-run or maybe there is an alternative way of doing it - ignition will need to be active to preserve CAT & ignite fuel, I doubt that that is shut-off? - I am not very technical, I just know what worked for me (mine is also pre-cat :)

  7. Used Ls swap don't seem too bad an idea either though http://m.ebay.com/itm/171796645229

yeah thats what I was 'budgeting for', but LS3 - Stateside (albeit LHD) you can get most of the conversion parts, right down to 'plug and play' wiring harness converter kits! - Custom headers from a UK race / rally shop if adapting LHD ones pointless, mounts etc Sikky...and your best friend the race mechanic fed with endless supply of chips :) ..possibly not that easy.....but what a car, basically pick any power you want / think you can handle, as the LS variants and ready tuning options is just a pick & mix :) he mutters with incredible naivety..

All I will say is, i hope Wasso pops by this thread and lets you know just how easy it is, or Keyser or Buster who are working on the project, sorry did i say easy.....

...I can barely imagine...we can only imagine....tis a shame its not a straight forward proposition....
