does anyone know if a 2006 facelift model rear diff will fit on my uk 2005 please?
-
Just fitted 30/25 combo on standard setup and no rubbing, looks the buisness, dunno why Nissan didn't make the oem wheels fit flush to the sides of the car arched,, don't know if it's my imagination but it feels more planted around bends

I don't suppose you've got gaskets for cat to headers in stock have you Alex? The block connector unplugs.
-
thanks Alex, much appreciated mateBest to fit it as it is a brace and serves a purpose, however quite a few members run without it if they are running after market cats or decats if there are no fixing points.
Rust free pre owned are in stock if required.
Alex.

Have just removed cats and the bracket is rusty as hell, is it needed, has anyone left there's off and had any problems? Cheers
-
I've just been taking cats off mine and noticed lots of surface rust underneath, guna get to work o. It this summer, get it up on axle stands and get bizzy with the wire wheel,
-
Thanks zman, didn't want to break it as is a tight mo-fo, if I break them do you have them in stock?
-
I have eventually removed my cats but there still attached by o2 sensors, does the connector block for wires unplug? Mine is solid and didn't want to force it incase it broke? Or do I need to actually bolt the sensors out to remove cat fully? Glad those cat bolts are out ha, extremely fiddly, knuckle rash all round
-
. Haha yeah I know what you mean about the bolts,, mine looked like the underside of the titanic,,, was kind of glad I had to get under there as it has prompted me to get the bits of rust sorted under there,Good luck with this. I fondly remember doing the exhaust on my 22k miles 4 year old 350z. The entire under side looked lke it had been submerged under sea for 1000 years. The nuts and bolts holding the exhaust just sheered off despite lots of delicate persuasion. Ended up spending hours drilling out the studs which connect the catback bit to the rest of the system. Argh!
Hope I can get those nuts off as got no transport now,,,
I don't think they will come off as the rust is insane on the thread and nut, another fun packed day under the zed again tomorow!

. Yeah I agree ha, anyhow I've got to much corrosion on flange at y pipe end so need to take cat to manifold bolts out and bin the cats, there are 3 bolts each side on manifold end and they look terrible, can these be ground off or are they threaded in the flange also?? Sprayed them with releasing spray but don't hold out much hope for them slackening,,Now 5 year old boys AND 5 year old girls will love my car.Probably best not to advertise that
-
I was fearing that, Anyone done it and can advise best type of drill bit would be best, are the bolts hardened, should I start with a small bit and work my way up? Been on this two days and have the grinder rash to prove it ha
-
Can anyone tell me if tha bolts on catalytic converters a threaded both ends? As ground bolts and stud off the y pipe end flush with flange and the bolt won't knock through?? Do I actually have to drill flange holes out or will they knock through with brute force? I am at the end of my teather!!
Advice would be much appreciated cheers

yeah ment 137000 milesJust bough a zed with 13700 miles and it drives better than my 68000 mile zed, it's all about how many owners and service history and how it's been driven, these cars are getting old now so best to buy with your eyes and ears rather than what the miles are, within reason of course,
Did you mean 137,000?
Regardless, yes it is about how it has been looked after, but everything has a finite life.

been searching and posting trying to find an answer to weather my headlights are hid or non hid?? ive found posts that say they are hid and posts that say there not and posts that say high beam is hid and main beam is not??? been searching for about a week,,,
reason why is im after buying headlights from usa,
advert says will work with non hid lights, anyone got a anniversary model or gt4 who can confirm for me?
-
as title says, have seen those for 200 pounds on fleabay was wondering if anyone on here has bought any before I take the plunge?
-
thanks very much robb, much appreciated mate,
-
thanks zman, will see when it arrives,
-
I need to take my zed for its mot and all seems good apart from the windscreen washer isn't working and I cant even hear anything when I press it ,
so my question is will any motor fit,, my car is a jdm anniversary model 2005, ive just ordered single outlet
-
have a squeeling belt of some kind, seems like an auxiliary belt but don't know which, have ordered new belts but was wondering worst case scenario if either or both snapped during driving ?
anyone had one snap on them before??
