Call me paranoid but I'd rather get all niggles sorted under warrenty......testing the brakes out after buying the zed today I pressed hard on the brakes from motorway speeds and when getting out the front passenger brake especially was smoking and smelling of burning is this normal?

Still a standard looking air box to me whole car is bar an after market exhaust

Having picked up my first zed today I have noticed that mainly when accelerating from about 2k rpm upwards in 3rd and 4th there is a noise like a sharp intake of air coming from the front passenger side lastjng for about 2 seconds then stops? Anyone ever come across this? Sorry if there is not enough detail here just hard to explain...ive got 3 months warrenty just want to make sure its nothing I need to return to the garage with.

Yea sorry mate of course I am expecting the usual but this one had what looked like blistering on the rear passenger quater under the paint work didnt see it until I got it out into the daylight...
The search continues...makes it even harder having the cash ready haha
will keep an eye out for lights on other ones sure a good clean wouldnt go a miss..cheers for the info mouth

I wouldn't be paying £9500 for a 2004 unless you're absolutely desperate for low miles and aren't planning on doing any yourself, otherwise you're just chucking money out the window. You have to ask yourself, is the 30/40k miles difference worth £2.5/3k more to you?
Yeah the price is putting me off a lot....its not so much the milage as I want a zed with as a good a body work as I can get...went to a garage to drive one today but the bodywork wasnt right and the front loghts were discoloured badly.

Managed it with mine from a dealer too. No harm trying. Tell them you've saved for ages and it's really the maximum you can run to
well im a cash buyer no finance and no px will offer what I offer then they can take it or leave it lol

I've had a search on this but can't really find the answer...how much would it cost to have a nismo (copy obviously) painted and fitted...I know it will depend on how much fettling is needed to get it to fit but had anyone had any experience with this?

Have you checked the private ads on here? You will always pay a premium buying from a dealer. You could save a few more quid buying private

The blue one is sold I've just been emailing Greg
I've always had mr2 turbos so didn't mind buying those private as I knew what to look for but as I'm still reading and researching the 350 I am trying to play a bit safer with garages until I know what I'm looking at

Hes got a really nice blue gt in for £10500 but really dont want to spent that much on a 10yr old car!
Don't talk to me about that sort of thing, ...I've spent more on mods for my Zed than that.
what do you think of that blue one out of interest?
Thats why I want a one with the nismo kit...bodywork is big bucks to get right..spend bit more now save more in long run haha
