  1. I know i'm going to regret this but here goes. The sizes are standard 225/45/18 front 245//18 rear. Three A P606 95W XL front. Excelon performance XL100W to rear. Come on now slate them don't let me down.
  2. The tyres are all brand new can't remember the make I can look though. The tyre place said they are good make and pressures set at 35psi as recommended. They are top rating as specified for the car XL. They are not what you would call top branded tyres though and I suppose it's possible that they don't like very high speed.
  3. Point is taken to be honest I was just trying it out as only had I for a few days I don't drive like it all the time. I've just realised no point going on this forum on a sunday as you will obviously all be in church lol. The trouble is i'm a bit nervous now as I don't know why it happened. I didn't brake hard but it may have been that I slightly over steered as the steering gets quit stiff at speed as I'm sure you all know but i'll get used to it. Mouthwash I got the Cat D one in the end had it fully checked out chassis etc all good. Car feels solid to drive it was just this one time it may even have been that particular stretch of dual carriageway as drove down it again and same place felt wrong. Jeeman I didn't know there was another Z in Bexhill mine is white I've not seen you as yet.
  4. Well that is a certainly varied type of comments. To mouthwash I did not get the car with the nismo sticker so car not unbalanced. Tyres brand new all round and all the same. Tyre pressures 35psi all round as stated in manual. I think it was an extreme set of circumstances which I do not intend to repeat and the term not recommended speed is stated as not wanting to open myself up to prosecution. I find it quite amusing that I get frowned upon because I like to drive fast isn't that the point of having a sports car. Someone in another thread I started said that when I get a Z said I would drive to the red line thus suggesting that people like to drive them fast. It was a safe bit of road just an unpredictable white van man driver. Thanks for all the comments tho very amusing on the most part and some actually answered my original question which I asked so I can avoid a similar set of circumstances, and yes clean pants and seat lol. cheers all can't wait to meet some of you right barrel of laughs
  5. I think its possible I was steering away from van at the same time as braking as I was not sure what the hell he was going to do. He looked like he was going to pull out on me and as a result I braked and instinctively steered further out away from him so basically was putting more strain on nearside front when braking heavily. As you rightly say lesson learned
  6. Yeah I suppose you're both right but they are built to go fast anyway I suppose I asked for those comments didn't I
  7. Hi just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this. 350z HR.I was going at a not recommended speed and a van decided to pull out to outside lane in front of me. I may have been on a slight curve on road not sure. Anyway I braked quite hard and s**t the life out of me as what happened can only be described as a tank slapper on a bike for all that have experienced one of those. I feathered the brake and brought it under control but I could have lost it. Has anyone else experienced this and why did it happen. Cheers
  8. Quick update for anyone interested. I have changed my mind once again and have put a deposit down on the cat D mentioned earlier in post. Repair was to front end and off side front no airbags deployed. Spoke to Abbey Motorsport and they said Cat D nothing to worry about as panels are so expensive that it would not have taken much to write it off. At £6250 for a late 58 plate HR GT with 35000 miles on it is hard to resist. Only thing that hasn't been fixed is the offside headlight washer and with the money I have saved I can get upgrades done. It has had 2 MoT's done since damage should get it in around 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for you're replies. Now you got me worried. I have to say tho the car drives fantastic and the stainless exhaust sounds awesome. The guy that put the stickers on is 47 years old (should know better) still younger than me but they will be coming straight off when I get it. Bodywork is in fantastic shape and the interior is faultless and has all mod cons. If it has ever been in an accident there are certainly no signs of it. As for the comment how do I know it's not been in an accident as it is HPI clear how does anybody know about any car unless its brand new. Thanks for the advice on the grommets under the bonnet

Just a little question not a major issue. Has anyone seen an HR bonnet that isn't quite flush at the front from a car that has not been in an accident. It is very slightly not straight. http://s1379.photobu...rlpljh.jpg.html Its probably something easily adjusted but just wanted to make sure
  11. Thanks jimboy can't wait to get my hands on it very different to drive than my zs 2.5. Gears very close together but won't take me long to get used to that.
  12. Would really like to get to know some people from on here are there many meets or anything i'm thinking I may do a road trip this summer
  13. No it's not it's from Exclusive Motor Company are Junc 17 dodgy then
  14. I have put a deposit down on a 07 HR. Its in Peterborough and is beautiful. Full history top spec almost perfect condition it has a stainless exhaust system and just the loud growl is scary. It has ben so well looked after body work is nigh on immaculate. 3 months warranty 1 year MoT full valet and PDI it was worth waiting for the right one pick it up in about 3 weeks can't wait.
  15. How do you upload pics on here please
  16. I have a silver car now and i'm bored with the colour. I really thought you would all like this one i'll keep quiet now I think
  17. Firstly I don't have silver or grey hair and unless i'm grossly mistaken stickers can be removed I thinks its a lovely example and I like the vents
  18. Ok lol why its the same car just a different colour
  19. I did consider it but I want rid of my car at the same time without the hassle of selling it myself and want the peace of mind of some sort of warranty from a dealer
  20. ok this looks like it. Going to see this tomorrow and if it's as good as it seems i'm going to put a deposit down. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201501180254648/sort/default/radius/1500/postcode/tn401rs/page/7/model/350_z/make/nissan/usedcars/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/seller-type/trade_adverts?logcode=p
  21. It's so hard this I have money coming in about 3 weeks from early pension tax free and it's a one off chance to get what I really want so gotta get it right. Here's another question. Are the newer HR drop tops more reliable than the earlier ones
  22. This is very true. I have not driven a pre rev up apart from the obvious higher reving engines is there are great deal of power difference between pre rev up and post. Is it really noticeable
  23. Perhaps I shouldn't care what people think and just get the one I like its not like its got stickers over it or anything
  24. Oh I will get one but it's harder than I thought to make a decision on the right one. I will only have this money once so it's got to be right
