  1. Are you actually fitting them at the weekend then? Brave man. Please report back as I'm really fancying these as a cheap stop-gap until I get a full cat-back system.

Just found this very thorough sound demo, just hope it doesn't sound like it does at 1:49 all the time!

Yeah giving them a fit to see if they are cheap for a reason ;)

I just miss hearing the exhaust on the 70, its obviously quick but doesn't excite me like the 50 did as there is no drama about it.

How did you get on with these, seem good value at £170 compared to a full system, any drone or db issues on track?

Awfully loud. They only lasted 2 weeks lol

Thanks for the reply, just seems a good deal. But I plan to track the car so can imagine would be a nightmare getting past the db limits. Also, I would not class myself as wanting a chavy boomy exhaust, but been upset before with spending money on a exhaust only to think how quite it is. Something with the quite loud, valves would be ideal just not with the £2k price.

If your car was not a daily would keep it, also what have your got now, and ever had any db issues on track?

    Thanks,

  3. Hi guys and girls(?)

Being new to the 370, I first did not even look at the car due a perceived massive insurance premium. My existing insurer (Adrian Flux) of my modified focus st, was £600. They would not touch me for less than £4k.

I am 23, 5yrs NCB,car lives in a garage. Pay £290 with Esure. I was so amazed with this price I checked it 3 times and then went to dealership to view and buy one lol!

Just shows there is great deals out there not just for older drivers,

  4. If you are going to use a independent inspection don't use RAC. The dealer I just bought my car from uses RAC to inspection on all there cars prior to sale and thus come with a 3 month warranty. RAC missed a clunking noise at bite point from the rear of the car. Which turned out to be lose bolts on the drive shafts. The dealer paid for the fix instead of RAC as, RAC said it must have been like that when then inspected it. And thus would not pay for any issues, the dealer was worried when Nissan said it might be the diff at £3k! My reply was why did the RAC you not say anything then!!! They probably hardly look at your car and only pick general issues not common to a 370.

I was worried to, expensive sports car with potential big bills if something is wrong. I have seemed to got away with a good car apart from @*!# tyres and kurbed alloys. If I was in you position I would agree if you buy it to get it inspected at cougar sport, they will know all the issues if any as they will see more cars than Nissan.

  5. Thanks for the reply, nice car by the way! I can see a slight difference but probably only because you told me. I am torn between going silver or nismo/gt ed style. Has anyone got a photo of a le mans car with the nismo/gt ed wheels?

    Many Thanks,

    Tom

  6. The gunmetal colour was mainly for the 40th Aniversary Edition, however im sure some of the new GT Editions came with dark wheels too.

The small button is only for the keyless system. When you unlock the car with the fob, does it only unlock the drivers door?

Thanks for the reply, at first both keys only unlocked the car when really close to the boot or the doors. But now I have changed the batteries and they both work from much further away. To answer your question, yes when I press the unlock button only the drivers door unlocks.

  7. Hi guys,

I have had my 370z GT for a week now, px'd my Focus ST. Sad to see it go, but the 370 is just in another league. Its got 17k on the clock, but the last owner has not been the most caring to the wheels. Its got the silver 19 oem rays but I have seen cars with them in gunmetal colour, was this a option at purchase?

    Like this car

Also the passenger door requires pushing the little button on the handle to open. Is this normal?

    Many Thanks,
