Can this noise be replicated by turning the drive shafts by hand? I think this is the problem on mine, especially when I'm moving from reverse to 1st, guessing the shaft moves twice, I was recently told a rear wheel bearing has slight play from the mot, could this of been confused with this?

May of posted this already but didn't show. Got a price for £140 at a Marshall Nissan in bury, company discount got me down to that price, parts at cost + 10% and labour at £45 an hour

Just seems ridiculous for what's little more than an oil change, I'm going to try another dealer which I can get company discount on and see where that goes, if not a local garage

Just been quoted £295 for a 81k P1 service, the chap that owned it before me had had the full P3 for that price as the car had been in storage. It's like Nissan are trying to have my pants down.

Below the mileage on the speedo is the trip A and B clock, this fails to display all the digits, only part, any solution to this? Making it display full numbers?

Also Is it likely to be the ball joint or could it be just the bushes or is it a good idea just to replace the whole assembly?

I have a loud knocking noise coming from the offside, jacked up and found no problem, reading the posts sounds like a banana arm, is it likely to be just this? where is the cheapest place to get one? Can I do it 'on the drive way' so to speak? Would I need any specialist tools?
