  1. I will try that, thank you! Hopefully it's all solid.
  2. Ok, thanks! No, not that I can see when I spin it by hand.
  3. Like the topic says, is this sound normal or is it something that needs to be changed? It's just been emptied on oil here, refilling later this week. http://www.markusp.s...ad/IMG_7056.mp4
  4. Yep, that would be my thought as well, to tighten the belt. But the belt is much tighter now than when I bought the car. The S/C kit was installed when I bought it, new and installed in 2003. I never had any squealing sounds until I started adjusting and replacing tensioners, bearings, belts and stuff. I've heard/read that sometimes it might as well be too tightened, and that's causing the squeal. but I don't know... Since it's a brand new belt it's probably nothing dangerous, but pretty annoying. I want it to go away for good. The C-2 S/C is self lubricated. The mileage on the car is below 9 000 (yes, nine thousand) miles (American), extremely low. But I can se wear on the pulleys with "teeth" if you know which ones I mean. What's normal mileage for having to change parts of this S/C kit? I just changed/refilled the S/C oil with ProCharger oil, changed the longest one of the belts as I wrote, and also changed the bearings in the two small tensioner pulleys that tightens the longest belt. Yep, it doesn't sound good. I've never heard this rattling sound before. That's good to know, thanks! I will drop you a PM!
  5. Hi! I have two issues with my Procharger Supercharger kit. 1. The belt squeals at startup. I have recently changed the multi belt to a brand new one. But it squeals more than ever. Stops after about 15 seconds after startup. Here is a clip of the squeal, but this is an old clip, it lasts longer now. As you can se in the comments, someone writes that I should "change the two small pulleys". Exactly which pulleys is he referring to? See attached file (not my car). Can this be the issue? Could the belt be too tight or too loose? 2. There's a rattling noise from the supercharger unit on idle when I have driven it for about five minutes and then let it go down to idle. The rattling sound is not there on idle when I've just started it up, only when I have driven it a while. My dad thought it might be the bearings in the pulleys with "teeth", that drives the supercharger. Here is a video clip: www.markusp.se/download/procharger_bearings.mp4 Help much appreciated! /Markus, Sweden
  6. I exchanged the speedometer console and turned on the ignition. The mileage showed in kilometers, but it was like 64 000 km or something. I guess that means that the mileage is stored in the speedometer console itself. How did you alter this number? What do I need the white box for? Did you mean that you also exchanged this box for a UK box on your jdm 350z?
  7. And also, can you find some picture of that white box you're referring to?
  8. Ok, thanks! I'll try to exchange it. How do you alter the mileage on the new speedo/rev console?
  9. Hi! I have a rather unusual issue. My Z is imported from the US so it has all the gauges in Amercian units, like speed in mph, temperature in Farenheit etc. It's a custom built showcar so there are A LOT of modifications and special solutions on this car. I have switched the gauge cluster in the center console to another one, from a car that's European (Swedish) and that changed the units to km/h, Celsius and so on. Now, for my first question: Does anyone know if it's possible to just switch the whole gauge board with the speedometer, rev etc to another one? The car has only gone 8800 miles, which is just above 14 000 km. And I would like this to show in km instead of miles. Obviously the units changed and nothing else happened when I switched the gauge cluster in the center console, so wouldn't it be possible to do the same with the analog speedometer gauge board or will the car protest against that and give me all sorts of error codes? I know that some parts are coded to each specific vehicle, but is this the case with the analog speedometer? Question number two: The trip computer in the center console shows temperature as default setting. I can change it to speed, but when I turn the ignition off and turn it on again, it's back on temperature. Does anyone know if it's possible to make it stay on speed instead of "resetting" when I turn off the ignition? Best regards, Markus, Sweden
