  1. Good Evening All,

     

    Wondered if anyone had any spare space in a workshop or garage somewhere in the South East? Have a bit of work to do on my 350Z but having a gravel driveway with a trolley jack and these cold temperatures making it a bit of a pain. Could man up and get on with it I guess. Just wondered if anyone had space in exchange for good coffee and biscuits or beer tokens?

  2. So after a quick trip to Abbey Motorsport and some sound advice from Mark. (What an awesome place) I need a new fuel damper to stock the ticking knocking noise. Does anyone know where to get one? Is Nissan the best bet? Also is it an easy install? Do I just pull the pipes off the existing damper and replace? Looks like a clip on one end and the other end sheathed. Does it just pull off?

  3. Thanks for the swift replies everyone. No low oil light came on. The oil was on the low mark. Topped up with just under a litre. I will see if I can feel the fuel pressure regulator ticking tomorrow and let you know. Couldn't be the timing chain or anything could it? Any Zed owners Essex way if with a bit of knowledge I dont mind meeting up to see if you can hear it and help.

  4. Good Afternoon. Just wondered if anyone has heard of this. I have a taking noise on acceleration, could almost sound like tappets coming from the plenum area. Nearly through 2000-3000 rpm. I checked the oil and topped it up as it was on the low mark. The ticking is still there. Also notice it again through 5000rpm then goes away. Thought it maybe something to do with a chain guide or something when the oil is low but I topped it up and it's still doing it. Could it be the fuel pressure regulator? Any thoughts please it's driving me mad.

  5. I have had an Impreza. Great car but just didn't feel like it would be up to much on a track unless I spent a fortune on handling mods. Bigger turbos, bigger brakes etc etc. The Z from standard feels like to was designed for the track. The way it handles and sits. The Impreza feels like a bit of a compromise for the road unless it was a special edition one. P1, WR1 or RB320? Which model are you looking at?
