I was up in Cheshire 2 weeks ago too but then again it's only just appeared now.
Will get onto some places around here to try and get a depth reading and inspection.
Will report back soon to let you know the outcome.
Cheers,

That would make sense too with the amount of sun thats been down this way lately and the paint only recently appearing like it. Hopefully it hasn't had paint before as surely that would probably mean that the car has had some damaged before resulting in new paint on both sides. yikes.
If its going into clear coat failure would this require a respray?
Appreciate your help mate as well as the other members, gives me some insight on the possible causes etc.
I'm based in South Wales.

Just had another closer look at the paint and if looked at closely there seems to be a type of oily blue looking outline around the edges of the imperfections.
Surfaces is completely smooth.
Will upload a photo of the other side when my google mail finally loads
-
Looks way too haphazard to be a bad respray to me (although I won't rule that out entirely just yet...).
I'm assuming the weather where you are has been hot and dry (until you washed it!) for the last few days? Any rain? Im assuming this is shortly after you have washed it? Where was the sun/shade on the car whilst you were washing it?
I'll be back with more questions when you think you're done with these.
Weather has been fairly hot here, I usually wash the car on a Saturday in the afternoon when the sun isn't too hot but this week its been hot so i'ved washed it this evening while the sun has gone.
We did have 2 days (tuesday and yesterday) of hot weather around 27 here. Car is parked in the sun on the but the drivers side isn't usually in direct sun light.
Has definitely appeared pretty fast as I washed the car last Saturday and this wasn't there :S

I've just found photos of this side of the car and theres no colour change on the paint work so it's definitely something thats happening recently
-
Thanks guys,
That outline shows the bad part. Arc type shape.
I first noticed a patch on the passenger rear wheel arch about 2 months ago and now i've just noticed this patch thats on the drivers side going most of the length.
I'm 99% sure this wasn't there 1-2 weeks ago as I really inspect the paint after washes. (bloody car parks)
Owned the car since December so not sure if its had any paint correction before but the paintwork is flawless until this
It looks like a massive birth patch on half the car :O

It's hard to get a photo but its as if the paintwork is changing over to a lighter colour which is really noticeable to the eye.
I will get a better photo in a few minutes.

I believe mine is on OEM, well theres no receipts in the history. It's on 92k now.
A lot of chatter driving up a slope slowly which I think could be the flywheel.
At 42k yours should be decent

Yeah both nipples on the calibres were bled,
If I double tap the brake then there bloody sharp, almost throwing the passenger out the window but when first braking they do feel soft, a bit in unpredictable.
-
Hello,
Have had the brake fluid changed and afterwards noticed that the pedal feels a bit spongy compare to before. The calibres were bled twice with no air coming out yet they still feel different.
Before the pedal was firm and the brakes gripped straight away with stronger braking as you push the peddle down more.
Now the pedal brakes for the first 10% and then goes through a middle phase of soft feeling and then gripping hard when pushed to the floor.
Is there still air stuck somewhere?
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Chris

You won't regret it!

Think I've only seen about 4 different 350z's in total around here.
Seem to go through phases of spotting them and then not spotting one for a few weeks.

Looking good!

@*!#, good spotting on the tyre!!
The rear wheels must be on the wrong sides after having new discs and pads fitted. Will sort that out now.
So with the paint work, if its a case of new paint not being blended in properly I'm guessing its been covered with types of filler etc? What would I have to use or do to cover it back up again?
Thanks
