  1. I didn't really want an M4 to be honest I wanted the 370, the BMW was massively over my budget which I could stretch to but it meant making sacrifices. An M235i I could get for 2k less than the Nismo and is a highly rated car but it looks like any other BMW apart from the twin single exit exhausts.

I am now really really chuffed that everything is sorted and I will be getting the Nismo soon, hopefully when I speak to the dealer today should have confirmation of a date I can collect it.

  2. Now on the verge of cancelling my order, I am speaking to the dealer tonight and if they haven't sorted it then I am going elsewhere.

Have you not enquired elsewhere yet? Or do you mean a different car altogether?

Nope I hadn't looked anywhere else was just waiting for them to sort it out.

Looked at my finances and managed to convince the wife to let me have a BMW M4 even though it was a little out of my original budget but as I was building it online I got a call from the Nissan dealer telling me that everything is sorted and should be able to collect my new 2015 370Z in around two weeks :). I even told them I was on the BMW website shopping for an alternative and they asked me not to do that .

  3. Still heard nothing from Nissan but you know what they say "No news is good news," I don't think that is relevant here though. They did come out with that old chestnut we will contact you later today and guess what they didn't so I called them and they told me to call them again tomorrow.

  4. I am going to add to my story which only adds fuel to the fire, I contacted the dealership Monday once they were open after I found out over the weekend that someone on another forum had ordered a 2015 370Z Nismo on the 15th and received it one week later on the 22nd. They looked on the computer and said that my car was still on back order but if they put in a new order they could have one in a week, wtf? Problem is they would have to cancel my current order which means I will have to pay the new price for the car not the original price which they had agreed on. So for me to get this at the 2014 model price they emailed Nissan to confirm that this is what they agreed with the dealership and guess what it has been two full working days and they haven't responded delaying the process still further. I have called them several times and they always say they will contact me but never do but they told me to ring them at lunchtime tomorrow if I have not had a response. You know what also made me smile was when the salesman says we want you in your new car just as much as you want the car, truckin' really?

  5. No don't want to cancel but I feel like it sometimes but there is nothing else like it in this price range that actually stands out. Was looking this week at the Porsche Cayman but for 40k you get nothing apart from Xenons at this price. Also looked at the BMW M235i and the Subaru Imprezza STI UK, apparently the Jaguar Coupe is a good car but that is above my price range and I don't think I am old enough to own a Jaguar quite yet.

I am also getting a good deal on the Nissan despite all the messing around and not knowing. At the moment I am waiting on dealer support emailing the dealership to confirm I can have the new car at the same price as the old.

  6. Some one has a red uk 2015 nismo, I have seen some pics and looks good and he has it in his hands now, (Its on another forum)

I have just seen it mate, not a happy bunny me. Be interesting to find out how he got a 2015 model so soon when the dealership and Nissan UK can't give me any information when I am likely to get a car and I ordered a car more than 3 months ago.

Do you know what is even worse, he ordered it on the 15th October and got it on the 22nd October, Nissan you are a joke. I am going to write a nice letter to Nissan UK this weekend.

  7. They really are great cars for the money.

    It'll be worth the wait.

Yes I am sure it will be worth the wait but to say you will get the car in 2015 is a little bit ambiguous, it could mean Dec 15.

Sipar69 I am getting the car for a good price as they are honouring the price I was going to pay for the 2014 model.

  8. My posts come across as dismissive due to the fact that Nissan has messed me about in regards to my original order, they have £2000 of my money and I have no car to show for it or any delivery date anywhere on the horizon . Posts are like text messages and emails as they can be easily misconstrued and not always clear to the reader as demonstrated above on my part.

Thanks for clearing up any confusion ;)

  9. Yup, I spoke to mine yesterday too, and they ordered a car yesterday that's due in on Oct 20th. Once past the PDI it's coming straight to me as a demo for my test, then it goes into the franchise for demo or sale.

Ekona, next time you speak to them ask when customers will be able to order them from, the dealership I am using seem to know sod all ;)

  10. spoke to a Nissan dealer today who said he has been notified that the 2015 MY NISMO 370z will be available from later this month

Available to order maybe but I cant see the new cars going to the customer till in the New Year.

    in the showroom

I can understand that because if you can't see the car in the flesh how could they sell any. It would be interesting to see when they fulfil the first orders. Obviously you can tell I am a little bit annoyed by this whole old car, new car thing.

  11. These are the side images of the silver and black cars from the Nissan USA website, I think the black car is going to look nice. The red one looks good but that might not be a colour option for the European market and I don't see the point of the red trimming as it does not stand out.

I'd want the black one ~ look's much better with the red accents. B)

Yes I think I am liking the black car more now on the newer model as the outside will also match the interior. I originally went with a silver car to keep down costs as I had a set budget for a car but now I have waited longer this budget has increased.

Ekona: I would be truly shocked if one of the new cars turned up in the UK in the next couple of months let alone in two weeks time ;)

  13. For some bizarre reason it won't let me do a quote on a reply.

Anyway, yes the wait is killing me so you could imagine how annoyed I was when they told me they are cancelling my original order. I am at the moment still getting a silver car but when I went on the US Nissan site to build the 2015 Nismo it looks really nice in black with the red trim. I like the new cars front bumper and seats, don't like the wheels as much as its predecessor and I wanted the big wing as without it the new car looks to sedate. I think that I am going to be waiting a long time for this car but you never know I might be the first to get one in UK/Europe and get my photo taken to boot.

  14. Well as the title says I ordered a silver 370Z Nismo on the 24th July so I thought I would call the dealership to see if they could clarify when I would receive the car as they said it would take around 16 weeks. They preceded to tell me that they had received an email from Nissan saying that they did not know when I would receive the car as they were waiting on the new car codes to come online

So it appears that I am now getting the MY 2015 facelift model not the car with the BGW :teeth: When I get the car your guess is as good as mine but I don't think it will be anytime this year. However they are going to honour the price I was going to pay for the old model unless it goes down of course.

Am I happy about it or not? I am just not sure yet
