Hi Guru's.
Just a quicky for you, i have recently purchased a 350z 313 GT, test driving i didnt come across any issues, anyway now i have a little problem as i am about to explain.
Firstly a point to note is that i have no Engine Warning Light (CEL) so i cant flash a code out of it.
When engine is up to temperature the idle will not drop, infact it is quite erratic rising and falling between 1500 rpm and 1750-1800 rpm at a stationary position, clutch fully down.
My first instinct was that the Throttle Bodies may need a clean, recent receipts that came with the car show a replacement TB in early 2013, so at this point i have not gone in and taken them off, all i have done is Idle Air Volume Relearn via a pedal dance (i have lots of practice in this with having previous Nissans, so im confident all was done correctly), Anyway the relearn did not solve the issue, I have also done the Throttle Position Relearn.
My question is before i resort to taking off the Throttle Bodies would i be better off going down the route of MAF cleaning first to eliminate a dirty MAF as an issue? or just go the whole hog, whip the lot off and get to work on both MAF and the TB's?
Or an even easier solution would probably be if any member on here has had a problem very similar can they point me in the right direction as to what the issue could be.
Cheers
Martin
