    Tyres for Sale

Hey guys, Up for sale is a pair of brand new Nankang NS-2R tyres - 180 street compound. 225/40 R18. I bought these a month ago, but stupidly bought the wrong size! I have since bought the correct sizes for my wheels and currently have them fitted to my 350z. These are awesome tyres and given they are semi-slicks, they perform surprisingly well in the wet. I've yet to see the traction control light come on, even under heavy load. Dont get these confused with most Nankang tyres which seem to have quite a bad name, in particular the NS-2's. I think there are a few people who run these on the forum and i'm sure they can vouch for them being a decent tire. There isn't much to see in the picture (apart from dirty Z's ) as I got a bit eager and re-wrapped them back up before taking the photos! Heres a link to the nankang website for full specs: http://www.nankangty...otorsport/ns-2r I'm asking for £150 P&P included. If you are local to King's Lynn and are happy to collect then I can deduct £15 off the price. Thanks
  2. If you somehow manage to get them off, give me a shout! Do you know what they have been glued on with?
  3. Why do this to me!! Haha Anyone else?
  4. Hello, Has anyone got a pair of eyebrows / eyelid things lying around? Ideally painted in Gunmetal grey Drop me a pm Thanks
  5. Anyone got an OEM used offside rear tail light? Needs to be the LED off of the facelift / HR models please Thanks
  6. As above, not looking to spend an absolute fortune! But i'm on the lookout for new or used examples of both, colour is not an issue as I'll be getting them resprayed. Not looking for genuine parts, replicas will be fine. If any traders can source both at a decent price then i'd be happy to negotiate Thanks

    Camber Dilemma...

Just a quick update if anyone has the same dilemma as me and is searching around the forums in the future for an answer! I bought a set of Eibach adjustable rear camber arms and the alignment is all sorted. Did not need adjustable toe bolts in the end, managed to get away with the stock ones and adjustable arms. Currently running -2.5 degrees of camber on the rear, just enough that the wheel sits within the arch without rubbing and i've got most of the tyre in contact with the ground! Thanks again for the input guys

    Camber Dilemma...

+1 However I find the alignment very odd! To start off at the front there is .5 deg difference in caster while the toe/ camber is pretty even and would suggest the front ride height is square since you cannot adjust OEM front camber and caster. The only explanation would be a worn/torn bush at the front and likely the compression bush since it can allow front to back movement if worn which in turn will increase or decrease caster. At the rear the camver disparity is even more baffling as if you could get one side to 2degs or there abouts then why the other side at 4 deg? The only things I can think about as a posible cause is a bent camber arm or failed damper, sagged spring or wrongly installed components or the alignment guys were crap! If everything is equal then that side has to be significantly lower than the other to give twice the difference. Rear bushes do wear/perish or fail but should affect static camber but handling dynamics. Is the car lowered on coilovers or springs. Has it had a bump you know off eg hard kerbing? The eibach arms will restore the difference but it's important to find why. As you rightly said you may have to run > -2.camber both sides to avoid interference but that's not too bad if under 2.5deg At the front -1deg 40-50mins camber is ok Infact the zed can do with more. You will need arms if you want to exploit this but otherwise you are ok. Hope you find the issuesí ½í± I'll have to take a look at the bushes once its up in the air, a good 10+ years with the stock bushes so this could be the issue! Yeah the rear camber baffled me slightly! No idea whats gone on there... I'll definitely get a set of adjustable arms for the rear and see how I get on. The car is lowered on Eibach springs (30mm drop) and i'm not aware of any heavy impact. I'm not looking to track it or have perfect alignment, so at the possibility of sorting out 1 degree of camber on the front i think i'll save£400 and stick with the stock arms and give the adjustables a miss!
  10. Hello everyone. For those who had an input on my previous thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/93918-spacers/ that has been sorted! Thanks for your advice. Instead of cutting the hub bolts or knocking them out and buying new ones, which I imagined would be a bit of a nightmare! I decided to go for 25mm spacers all round and a rear arch roll and now everything fits perfectly! (if you are in the Norfolk area looking for arch rolling service, I'd strongly recommend A Reeve Performance in King's Lynn) no rubbing on the front or rear and the spacers now sit flush with the hub (as they should do!) currently ET-10 on a 10J at the rear and ET-3 on a 9J at the front. Now.... After getting this all sorted I took the Z to get aligned, as you can see from the pictures below there is a bit of an issue with the camber: Before: After: Now my dilemma is: Can I get away with the minor adjustment from a pair of Eibach adjustable toe bolts with the stock camber arms? Can I buy a pair of adjustable camber arms and use the stock toe bolts? Or am I going to need to buy both adjustable camber arms and toe bolts? Just dont want to jump in and buy the whole kit when I may not need both arms and bolts. As you can see from the last photo there isn't an awful lot of room so I'll probably have to run -2 degrees camber at the rear anyways, so its really just pulling the rear offside wheel in by +2 degrees. As always, Thank you in advance

    SPACERS?!

Thanks mate Yeah initially I wasn't a fan of the gold and didn't think it'd look that good, although now they're on the car I don't think they look too bad! hahaha well lets just say I'm not very popular with the neighbours... It does sound amazing though, once the weather clears up and i've sorted the fitment on the wheels i'll try and get some videos up

    SPACERS?!

Yeah I think that was his name? Lives in Mildenhall? Yeah that's him, he had them on his black 350. Yeah he had his Zed parked outside, was rather nice I forgot to ask him what wheels he was opting for next! Is he a member on here?

    SPACERS?!

Yeah I think I may have to give that a go as it may sort out my clearance issue on the rear arches. although I think I'll still have the same issues with the gap between the spacers and the hub

    SPACERS?!

Thanks for the replies I've just bought a set of used Rota D2's - 18 x 9, ET22 on the front & 18 x 10 ET 15 at the rear The front's have 20mm spacers on (which are now 25mm due to the gap!) The rears have 25mm spacers which fit perfectly. I may have to take Grundy's advice and sheer off 5mm on the front so currently ET-3 on the front and ET-10 on the rear is believe? Alignment isn't sorted yet although I will be running a bit of camber. There is no recess on the back of the wheel at all... they're completely flat. I know I might have to ditch the spacers or swap them out for some smaller ones.. but I quite like how she sits at the moment The rear arches are rubbing a lot at the moment so that's something i'm currently trying to sort out! Here are a few pictures: Not 100% on gold wheels on a GM 350z, so that may change. Although they are growing on me! Yes she hasn't had a wash in a while and it won't be to everyone's taste... Feedback welcome!!

    SPACERS?!

Hello everyone, Just in need of a bit of advice really... I've recently purchased some H&R spacers from forum member - 20mm & 25mm... the 25mm spacers on the rear fit fine... the wheels don't, but thats another story!! However this is what the fronts look like... I know the photos aren't brilliant and correct me if i'm wrong but arent the spacers, hub and the wheel all supposed to sit flush?? Basically the bolts from the hub are too long for the spacer and they come out the other side and hit the back of the wheel. will a pair of these in between the spacer and the wheel fix this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5mm-ALLOY-WHEEL-SPACERS-SHIMS-SPACER-UNIVERSAL-4-AND-5-STUD-FIT-/271073295602?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET&hash=item3f1d3a3cf2 Thanks in advance!
  17. Hello I am after the above... Usually i'd be looking for used examples as I love a good bargain! However I am open to buying new due to purchasing a set of wheels that I want to crack on with fitting. I'm definitely wanting a set of steel wheel nuts, ideally similar to these, maybe in a neo chrome finish: http://www.driftworks.com/gt50-steel-wheel-nuts-with-key-5-colours-available.html I'm also wanting a set of hubcentric spacers, i'm not too sure on the sizes yet though possibly 15/20mm on the front and 20/25mm on the rear. Havent yet got round to test fitting the wheels. Lastly I believe I am going to need rear camber arms. Some of the information on the forum is a tad confusing so any clarification on this would be appreciated! Im lowered 30mm and the rear wheels are 18x10j ET15 I believe... If I stick with the stock arms is this going to cause major issues when it comes to the alignment? Can I stick with the stock arms and get away with buying a toe alignment kit? Running a bit of negative camber is fine, which I believe I may have to do to get the wheels to fit once they've been spaced out a bit anyways. Just dont want to buy a pair to find out that I dont need them! I'm looking at the eibach / SPC kit which I can get for just under £150 shipped from the states including delivery and import charges. Also the kit driftworks provide which is a tad cheaper. I'm more than happy to buy the items from the sources I have found, however If any of the traders on here have any of the above and can provide a decent priced package then please let me know Thanks in advance

    New Wheels

Thanks everyone for the offers, greatly appreciated However after seeing this Zed i'm in the market for some JR10's On a side note, if anyone knows the width / offset / tyre sizes fitted to this Z please let me know, I shall be forever in your debt
  20. Hello everyone, I think I've got my heart set on some Japan Racing JR10's. They just seem to tick all the boxes for me. Now I know the picture below is a set of 19's, but I'd like to know what the offset and width are of the wheels fitted to this zed.. also the tyre sizes if anyone can help with that too! This is the exact look I'm going for. Love the way it sits. I'm lowered on Eibach springs (30mm) and there shouldn't be any issues with arch rolling if that needed to be done to fit these wheels. Iv'e tried to speak with the company that have supplied and fitted these wheels as I would be more then happy for them to fit the same spec wheels to my 350, only to get this response: "Hi, we do not reveal technical information only to confirm your request and complete fitability. You must appreciate that sometimes we do things to make wheels fit or meet customers needs. That information is important and that our competitors, less knowledgable are not privy to it. I am sure you understand our professional approach." Now I understand the above, but surely I need to know what size the wheels are before I buy them? I am enquiring as a customer that wants to buy some wheels, why is this a massive secret? Anyways I'm not here to have a moan, I just want to know how to get my Z looking like this! Any help would be greatly appreciated
