  3. That's a nice looking Hyundai but your Zed is on a whole new level, looks lovely! Loving your new wheels B)

Have you plastidipped your door handles?

Ive wrapped the handles with grey carbon fibre wrap :)

It looks awesome!! Was it difficult to do? Might try it since I have some gloss black wrap at home :)

It took me around 4/5 hours, I've cut my hands and burnt them on the heat gun haha, it looks wikid, it's not perfect but it'll do!

Oh dear lol. Each handle or both in that time? ;) Did you take them apart to wrap?

    All together lol

Nah I didnt takethem apart I used a tiny flat head screw driver, a blade and a heat gun, like I said its not the best job but looking at it you wouldnt be able to tell

  5. Well, ive just read all of the comments on this thread, and I must say, most of you are very nice, genuine people. However, some of you really are rather rude to call someone sad and pathetic just because they have a picture of themself as their "avatar" or whatever its called. If you take a look around there are plenty of lads that have links to their pages etc on here but im guessing you haven't noticed that. I had never even been on a firum for cars before and hadnt read any posts so I thought you were supposed to have a picture of either yourself or your car. I do apologise if all ive done is not to your taste, and are certainly entitled to having your own opinion. But maybe think twice before making yourself like a royal aresehole by using such hurtful words.

I will be the bigger person and leave it at that.

One last think actually...... this is my 11th car and I do infact love cars, just none as much as I love my zed.

    Thank you.

    Well said!

I'm sure you realise that I made this thread for a bit of a laugh. Inevitably, testosterone will rear its head from time to time on a sports car forum - I'm sure you know that already.

It's clear to me (and many others) that your 'car credentials' are at least the equal of many users here.

Finally, I enjoyed your phrase, "making yourself like a royal aresehole" - very succinct :)

Of course I know youre joking, I can take a bit of banter, I found this thread really funny until a couple of people decided to lower the tone and get personal.

I didnt come here for attention, or even to recieve hate for that matter. Any future posts will probably just be of the progress of my car.

Thanks for all the genuine kind words though for those of you who are nice.

to be fair to Chubbs (and I apologise because I havent read the whole thread) - this thread was never intended to be about you at all, It was just poking fun at the droolers imo

To be honest, thats what I thought also. I haven't looked at the other thread but got a sense what was said in it and realised this thread was taking the mick out of the droolers also.

It wasfuny until I was called sad and pathetic, amongst other things.

Nevermind aye, what would the world be without arseholes

  6. Always liked those wheels (but then I like most of the BBS LM copies). Only problem with that colour is that it's so close to a tyre colour that it makes it look like you have huge profile tyres and small wheels.

I test drove the 2.7V6 when they first came out. I couldn't fit in it comfortably due to my height and ended up with an RX8 at the time.

Yes you are so right, my tyres are fat I chose them on purpose because the tyres I had before were really low profile and with 350z arches being so big, it just looked ridiculous. I'll be lowering it more soon so 7 hope it'll look better, just need 15mm spacers for the front, in person the wheels look a lot lighter in co, our but in photos they look very dark

  7. Are they Rota MXR? I was going to get myself a set but can't really find a place that sell them in the right size in the right colour.

Nah dude theyre xxr 521 rims in chrome black.

They look like so many other wheels out there but I love xxr and how light weight they are

  8. I Owned a 2005 red hyundai coupe 2.7 v6 before buying the 350.

The modifications were just lowering springs, ts3 rear spoiler, inovit sonic 18" rims with stretched tyres, tinted blue foglights, hid kit with white side light bulbs, tinted rear lights, after market catback exhaust, double din head unit, matt black plasti dipped a few bits, put a private plate on. Thats about it, then I sold it to my brother. I also had the car detailed proffessionally so the paint work was spot on.

  11. Hi guys, just a couple of things.

I am looking at getting one of them cool air feeds in the front bumper, where would I find a carbon fibre surround bit for it, and how easy is it to cut out and fit etc?

    Thanks guys

I brought my one on eBay from Hong Kong - I didn't realise Tarmac sold these :( it took quite a long time to get delivered and it's slightly warped (see my build thread in soggy for pics). I complained about it and got most of my money refunded, so I've just gotta somehow bend it back into shape

My advise would be buy one from Tarmac, I have the template so pop us a pm if you'd like me to send you it, it's quite a easy job!

    Sent from Tapatalk

Thanks very much! I've got the template so I'm good for that! Is tarmac a website?

  12. They're all one piece aren't they? (i.e. no seperate surround).

Ohhh I see, I know a guy at ep racing I might ask him to do it as I dont think its worth risking diy is it, I might cut my whole bumper off by accident ha ha ha
