Finally getting round to painting the front end and the bits I damaged. Just grill and few olds ends to touch in and that should be last of it. 😉

Rear closing panels fitted.
That was a right pain getting it all to line up and sit flush so I could get the rivets in. 😢

Today I got a wing on.
Bit of a trim needed.
Test fit arch.
And all done bonded riveted just needs a little filler to hide the join.

Finished the repairs last night just need to paint but I'll do that when I've sorted the front wings do it all together.

It's all fixable bud. The FG door didn't like it so new one on order but it could have been a hell of a lot worse.
My own fault trying too hard too soon.

Took the car for a test day Saturday and was going very well a bit too well as it turns out.
Have a little off. 😢
But all in all I was well happy with how it performed straight out the box if you know what I mean.

First drive the clutch is rediculessly heavy steering is heavy brakes are @*!# and the heat shield rattle is doing my nut in but it drives. 😎

Bit more done.
Rear floor fitted.
Carbon dash bonded in.
And back on its wheels.
Got to see if it can move under its own power now as the mapping been booked for next week.

Doors added too to line up the wings best I can.
And filled gearbox/diff with some genuine oils.

Swapped out the AP 4pots for AP 2pots for some extra room on full lock.
With the 4's
And the 2's
And refitted the front to start sorting the wings wheels out.

And last night did this.
Cut the prop to size.
And with a large bar up inside the prop started to push out the rear UJ.
Nearly out.
And pressed back into the now shortened prop.
Next little problem was the pinion nut stuck out too far for the Nissan prop even with the conversion plate fitted so and little fettling was needed.
And there she it home sweet home.
And quick test fit of wings and arches.

Little vid for you guys.
Fingers crossed that's the engine ready to go for mapping now.
Just need to get the suspension brakes on and work out how to shorten the carbon prop.
