  1. All done. needed New Y pipe and even though the new pipe was bigger the flanges matched perfectly.

  3. Probably me as i live in chelmsford (or the wife) OE53?
  4. yeah, ive not seen any under £320 i only got rear and mid last time. was looking at a quick £150 job just to get me by short term, but even OEm ones come up as either 2.25 - 2.5 or 2.5 - 3.0, either one wont fit. can anyone confirm is a 2.5 will mate up with a 2.25 ok without any leak problems?
  5. HI, nice to meet you all, my zed had a hole in the exhaust and i bought a cobra exhaust back and mid section. after a few weeks the exhaust is blowing again from what appears to be the centre pipe to y pipe fitting. i guessed it was time to replace the y pipe too but i just had a thought. would the 3inch centre pipe be bigger than the outlet on the y pipe? if so what options do i have? cant afford more than £200 for the next few months and seen plenty of y pipes in this price but all have a 2.25 inlet to 2.5 outlet which means the y pipe is half an inch smaller on the outlet to my centre pipe. i have also seen a 2.5 inlet to 3.0 output but then the inlet is a quarter inch bigger than the output of the down pipes. im lost and not sure what to do for a cheaper fix for now. i cant find any stock y pipes for that matter anyway that dont have 2.25 inlet. do i need to buy a 2.5 to 3.0 y pipe and have the inlet of the y pipe quarter of an inch bigger? kind regards Damien
  6. Sent email as I noticed website says appointments only will call in the morning. Anyone else just turned up on the day or at short notice? I'm soooo anxious that I can't turn up
  7. At least trade link is on the way back I'll pop in there
  8. Well viewed one today in Coventry. Misfire on idle evrey now and again and cel light which he swear wasn't there earlier on when he put fuel. Needless to say it's been 3 hours driving, a bit gutting as it looks the part with the gun metal grey nismo kit at a supposed 46k miles but not worth a risk as neither him or I can check code. The hunt continues and I,m enjoying the hotel
  9. Hello! an old owner of 2 300zx TT's (one short wheel base) i have decided to buy my wife a 350z as she didnt like the 300's but always fancied a 350z. Its her birthday soon so been looking at the buyers advice etc. Got 7k to spend but all the low mileage ones i am looking for seem to be 06's, i have desperately been trying to avoid revups as the oil consumption and idea of having a duff car soon after purchase scares me as i want it as a reliable daily runner for her and some fun on weekends for me i can test a car normally as bought alot of cars in the past but with the oil consumption its something i fear i cant prove when viewing as it takes time to build a picture of its consumption. The ones i viewed were full service history but obviously that doesnt mean much as i doubt they mention oil levels anywhere i know that this can happen on any car but with 06's having a particular rep for it, is it best to stay away from revup engine? Good to be aboard! Kind Regards Damien
