Hi all.

Due to the sale of my 370z (and forthcoming house move) I'm looking to get rid of my old exhaust, which is still taking up space under my stairs.

It's in good condition having been removed at around 20K miles (when I had my Cobra system fitted), and I'm offering this completely free - the only condition being that you'll need to come and pick it up from my house (Nottingham).

Let me know if you're interested, if nobody wants it then I'll be phoning up a scrappy in a couple of weeks - which would seem a shame...

I've also left the world of 370z ownership. It's been a hoot - thanks in no small part to the Cobra Exhaust fitted by Cougar Store, but I've traded in my GT Ultimate for something more practical (but only in the number of doors department).

Here's my new motor, currently raking in a bleak 14 mpg - but it's a joy to drive.

I've never posted much on here but it's a fantastic forum with great members - keep up the good work and helpfully see you around!

Hope the update is worthwhile, beginning to drag now. I don't have the time or inclination to do the VoG, seems like they have replaced a decent story element with just reduce loudly hard strikes (weekly heroic) or multiplayer events that are just stupidly long (VoG)

Still love doing a daily strike and catching up with mates like Straun & Steve for a blast though

I'm only really playing the crucible now, if it wasn't for that I'm not sure I'd be dipping in very regularly. Having said that I'm still cramming in the hours.

Dragon Age looks good, but this looks even better...

I ask that as I have seen and driven quite a few 370's and never come across one without the variable intermittent wiper speed as posted in the vid above.

Just to add, my 370 doesn't have intermittent either, just "auto" or "on" (2 x speeds). It's a 59 plate UK model.

I loath the term atheist, and wouldn't use it to describe myself, but I certainly have no religious / spiritual beliefs whatsoever. I think atheist these days is used to describe people who actively reject other people's beliefs, whereas I'm happy just to not share those same beliefs myself.

As many of my friends on Facebook are active "atheists" as they are active "believers" - interestingly it's the atheists who are far more inclined to post articles supporting their particular doctrine. Kind of ironic.

Was going to join you last night Dave but had had one too many pints in the afternoon and wasn't sure I was capable of a strike. My crucibling was a bit hit or miss too...

Just completed the weekly strike on nightfall - whoop

Any decent rewards? Just got a new record in the crucible, 35 kills in one game, and my team still lost...

My favourite part was rocket launchering the minotaur off the edge by the nexus... WIN!!! And then him teleporting back after I revived you two and killing all three of us... fail.

Did you guys try VoG on Saturday morning - or just opt for the weekly nightfall? I logged on about 10.30am and was going to join if there had been a spare slot.

Hype was a nickname from school, I've used on near every forum I've ever joined, unless it's taken of course. Probably first used around 15 years ago!

I've only tried VoG once with a bunch of randoms, it was carnage...

I am guessing close range weapons are best in the crucible? Hand cannon & shotgun?

I go for mid range as primary (auto rifle mainly) and shotgun as secondary. Once you learn to swap at the right moment it makes things much easier. For some maps a sniper is better as secondary.

My exotic shotgun is full auto! On the downside it recoils like crazy and only holds 4 in the chamber.

No probs for me tonight with regards server, but others in my party kept getting kicked out of our games.

It's about this time every year they release the people who can't drive onto the dark roads. These are the people who assume they will avoid all collisions by driving everywhere down the middle of the road at a maximum speed of 30 mph, with their car lights on full beam. They are pretty easy to spot, very difficult to overtake due to their road position and if you do get past them they maintain their full beam status. Also, any oncoming car causes them to respond with an immediate break/swerve reaction.

Likewise the people who don't seem to know full beam even exists. You're driving along behind them and they're bumbling along at 20 because they have their lights dipped.

Yeah, I'd get bored pretty quickly just striking all the time. Just checked and I've played 313 games in the Crucible so far!

Hammered the crucible this weekend, have found it a good cure for being hungover. Gone from having no exotic weapons to having 4 - including a sniper rifle that makes you invisible. Bit annoying as you can only equip one at a time.

Who's raiding tonight? Count me in! So long as it's past 7pm anyway, have to watch the footy first.

 

PS4 or XBone? PS4 here, I'll be raiding tonight but probably busy with my usual raid partners. I doubt I'll get all three characters done tonight though so depending how it goes I may be doing it again over the next few days and hunting for additional raiders.

There's another mp game called Skirmish, which is basically 3v3 team deathmatch. In this one you can revive fallen teammates, and if you're not revived you stay dead longer (about ten seconds I think).

Didn't think I'd enjoy the crucible but I'm totally hooked. Got 32 kills in clash the other day, my best yet, and we still lost!

Just been playing clash and no one wants to revive anyone... I've looked for ghosts but can't see any. Does it not allow revive in MP?

There is no revive as such in MP. Once you die you just wait three seconds or so and revive yourself by pressing square (or the Xbox equivalent).

This was weird.......was playing last night at 8.20pm, went to the tower and there's usually loads of guardians running about, last night, nothing!!....nobody there at all except me. Has everyone given up?

You on playstation? The whole network was down for maintenance until 1 am this morning, hence the lack of other players. You must have been very lucky to get on, although Sony did say that if you'd logged on prior to 6pm on Monday you'd still be able to play on line.
