What is the avarage MPG if you drive like a Grandad? I know what the Nissan figures are but whats the actual driver figure?

Hi if your 350z was your only mode of transport and a new job requires you to travel 120mls a day, would you............. Sell the 350 or do the journey in it? Also to consider in 3 months time you are going to be moving a lot closer to work, which would drop it to about 20mls a day What would you do??? My readout say im getting 21.1 to the gallon Cheers

Hi everyone I've just come back from a drive with my new PopCharger installed Well...............it was a little disappointing Everyone has been banging on about the noise, but for me it sounds more slick and quite from the cockpit, i was expecting GRRR Didn't really sound like what i inspected, think its been built up so much on forums etc i was bit let down. Dont get me wrong, it seems to perform better and from outside the car reving sounds meaty Just cockpit noise didn't make me smile. Dont think i have installed it wrong. Everything is tight and no warning lights or performance issues. Mehhh maybe im just being fussy. I think the Nissan panel filter sounded more aggressive at 4k revs I have a cobra exhaust but not sure which as it came with the car. Any thoughts? does this sound right?

HI Guys Want to change my 05 roadster rear lights to some nice black LED jobys Does the Roadster and Coupe have the same rear light shape? are they universal? Also has anyone got any pics of their cars with black/smoked rear lights? And any recommendations? My car is Sunset orange and want to go down the black on orange theme Cheers

Thanks guys I have been running super but just wondered what running a 350z on a full tank of reg would do to the engine? Not knowing how my second hand car has been treated does keep me awake at nights thinking lol

Hi being a new 350z owner I'm curious about what kind of damage using regular unleaded will do to a 350z engine. I have recently bought one and have no clue what fuel previous owners would have used, so I am curious to know if someone had been running the car on reg unleaded, would my engine be buggered or is there any signs of wrong fuel use? Cheers

For anybody else that may have this problem in the future. Turns out it was an accelerator sensor, it's been cleared and just have to see if it was a one off

Hi Guys Need some advice please Started the car this morning and it fired up fine, but cut out a second later as quick as turning of a light switch. Didn't cough or anything just died. Turned it back on and the ABS light and engine mgmt light was on. Turned it off and on again and the ABS light was gone but the mgmt stayed on. Decided to take it for a spin and the car drove fine. didn't feel as punchy but that could just be in my head. Got stuck in some traffic and the car was fine didn't cut out or struggle in the heat. Taking the car to a garage tomorrow, but any ideas? Car is still in warranty btw. Cheers

Hi guys Picked my new 350z up yesterday and i have a few questions First is If i have the radio off and just listening to the beautiful sound of the engine, i can hear a faint rumble coming from the rear left wheel i think. best way to describe it - it's like if you was going over a rumble strip on the hard shoulder (but you had ear plugs in) Second is Rear parking sensors are really quite best way to describe it - it's like if you had parking sensors(but you had ear plugs in) Third is Gear change from 1st to second is clunky, the rest of the gears are smooth but shifting from first to second is clunky Best way to describe it - It has nothing to do with ear plugs in Any advice much appreciated Cheers

Sorry if i was confusing, Im with them at present with a different car Did the CTM and my insurance company was on there....happy days But when i tried to actually to change my car they said no But if i take a new policy through CTM its a yes, because of a glitch, but when its comes to renewel, they will cancel my policy

Two words............ stay away With these guy atm with a different car Below is my complaints letter, sums it all up really apart from they said if i took the new customer quote they will revoke my insurance the next year :-/ nice They havent replied yet, TBH im just going to go elsewhere as their quote was expensive. But i thought i would share and hopefully no new Z drivers get stung by these people. Dear Echoice I'm writing to make a complaint. I am purchasing a new car Saturday as I have been quoted to be insured by you on Compare the market Quote no I tried to make the changes to my online account and it came back saying you couldn’t insure me. Rang customer services and they all came to the same result. Too young, Which is funny as im not to young to be a new customer. They checked the details of the quote to what you have on record and it’s the same. You advisor Dawn informed me it’s a glitch in the system……how does that help me? I have now committed to a car you won't insure. and if I go elsewhere I will lose my 6th year no claims as my policy ends 1st of May What it looks like to me is that you will insure anyone to get the customer but won't let an existing customer be insured on the same car. If it was a "glitch" I doubt im the first or last person to be affected. Very unhappy with this as I'm now losing out whatever I do because of your "glitch" I leave you I lose my 6th year, I take your new customer quote and again I lose my 6th NCB What are you going to do to help me????? My policy number is Look forward to your response

Going back to the Mohair hoods Im having mine fitted with a brand new mohair roof as the roof it had was a bit tired. Are the Mohair better then the original roofs for durability?
