  1. I'm really sorry to hear this mate, my uncle bought a 182 which had been serviced, MOT and driven 60 miles the day that we bought it... paid the cash, drove 5 files and the car chewed all pistons. Cost over £1000 for an engine swap on a crappy clio lol. Seeing these threads make me not want to buy a 350 :(

  2. Hi all,

Jumping the gun a bit as I've only just put my beemer up for sale but when I do buy a 350 I'd really like to go for twin at least 4" backboxes + a full system (obviously lol).

How easy is it to get them angled?

For instance, JDM tuning usually go for exhausts that don't come straight out of the bumper but more so at an angle to the nearest side of the car

    thanks all :)

  3. Hi all,

I currently drive an E92 which is absolutely crap, I've had enough and I'll never buy a European car again lol.

I'm now 20 and my insurance is stupidly cheap, I can insure a 350 for no more than £950.

My new job is a roughly a 10 mile round trip (through town). I do enjoy driving weekends. My Dad has always had japanese cars, 300zx twin, WRX, soarers, silvias etc. He swears by them!!

In terms of performance, they definitely aren't slow but I really do like a nice exhaust tone from my cars and the engine in the 350Z is great for that.

After selling my E92 I'm happy to spend roughly £7000 but I'd like a nice example, maybe around an 04 plate for cheaper TAX but an upgraded exhaust would be great - what are my chances?

    Many thanks

    I passed from an e92 to a 350z,

The Z is a lot of fun, awesome exhaust sound with a full one, and go on...

The only thing that i complain about the e92 was that the interior were so rattless-free.

The Z is a full rattle due to the plastics....

However, go on, it's freakin funny :)

Funnily Enough, I do get some rattles from my e92! I think it's due to a previous owner dismantling the interior :p but I'm pretty set on a Z now :) Gun metal/Black look evil with nice wheels :p
  4. I definitely agree lads, I don't know why I put 3.2, I know they're 3.5's lol! I was looking at TT's and I guess I typed up the wrong info. I have been in one before and I have been in my dads old 300 Twin. I'll definitely test drive one before purchasing :) my e92's up for £9k but that's with full leather, m sport, 19 inch BBS (were £4k new) parkin sensors etc etc its top specced

  5. When I said 10 miles a day, that's through town to work. I can easily take a detour onto the dual carriageway for that much needed blast ;) It'll definitely be well looked after i can assure that :)

Officially put the E92 up for sale so hopefully within the next couple of weeks i'll have a 350!

  6. Overall my E92 has about 177BHP, for a car that is actually as, if not heavier than a 350. I think they're about 1.5 tonne? Because it also averages 45mpg, the car runs extremely hot, about 110C. That means problems! i.e plugs, coils, injectors etc. They aren't built great either and yes the interior looks great in full leather but still, cheaply made in my opinion. I'd much rather go Japanese :)

I know they aren't 0-60 cars and yes I am young but also willing to respect the car for what it is, a N/A 3.2 V6! What more could I ask for at 20? :D

I'm going to do no more than 10 miles a day, MPG doesn't bother me and they are beautiful cars with the right mods. To my understanding, they're quite bullet proof too?!
